I was actually a part of this project and can tell you this is a great glimpse of what the youth in Mumbai actually sees - or sometimes doesn't. I have met all the (then) kids who took pictures and this book is such a great perspective on their lives...a great buy...it is a reflection of their characters - all unique and expressive in their own way - minds unpolluted by adult mindsets.

Frank Gohlke captures the landscape of mid-America like no other photographer has! You can see deep into the soul of farmland by looking at his photographs, which were taken with a large format camera.

I did a lot of research about the American grain elevator. It was hard to come up with information that discussed aspects other than dust explosions and engineering. If you want to know about other aspects of the grain elevator, I would recomend this book. It also has great photographs!

I particularly appreciated Berkus' down-to-earth approach to writing - no technical jargon or "experts" language here. Berkus' concepts are far-reaching and visionary - this is seen strongly in the final section of the book "Building for the Future."
