I am a student attending USAO in Chickasha, Oklahoma. I am going to school to become an elementary teacher. I had an assignment
that wanted me to find math books that were relevant to children. I stumbled upon this book. I found it to be extraordinary!
It deals with so many aspects of math and money. I like the way this book deals with the complexity of borrowing and shows
how to save and spend money. It makes so many connections to the real world. I must say that I was very very impressed with
this book! I hope to use it one day when I am a classroom teacher! I recommend this book to all teachers, students, and
parents.

This truly was a fantastic book. What I thought would be complicated was made incredibly clear by Mr. Haft. I came away
with a greater understanding of investing. I recommend it to everyone - even to those who think they know the market. Mr.
Haft knows his stuff.

Haft writes in a style that is not only informative but amusing and keeps me totally awake and alert while reading him. His
thoughts and concepts and better yet explanations as to why the prudent investor should avoid mutual funds and get better
returns by just following a few basic rules, make me wonder why I have been listening to Brokers for years. I have attended
one of his seminars, and the book is even better because it spells out in detail, how I should be investing for both safety
and good returns, and I plan to follow his advice very closely in the future. He also gets into the Insurance game and IRA
protection in methods I was never aware of.

Pretty good overview for what is necessary and what isn't. Gets you thinking seriously about whether or not to take action.
Also gives a reality check on how much it costs to create your own product, vs. licensing it out to someone else, and the
advantages and disadvantages to both paths.

This book has been recommended by many Inventors' Alliance...speakers and is the first book you should read if you choose
to license your idea instead of manufacturing it yourself. The author offers a very reasonable product evaluation.
Outstanding. One of my all time favorite books.

This book is phenomenal. Jam packed with info on how to take your "half-baked" idea, develop it, license it, and make $$$
off of it! You don't have any ideas yet you say? No prob -- Harvey Reese teaches you that coming up with new ideas is a
SYSTEMATIC and deliberate process, and he teaches you that process... the same one that's worked for him over and over again.
I have read my copy 4 times and highlighted and marked numerous sections that I often go back and review. Most recently I
received immense help from the section on The Contract. I even submitted an idea to Mr. Reese through his website, and even
though he didn't think it had too much money-making potential for us, he took the time to send me a detailed analysis of why
it was sub-optimal and how I could improve upon my future product ideas. The learning experience involved in that was well
worth the small amount of money to me. His audio CD is outstanding as well. If you want to be the next developer of The
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the "Baby on Board" car suction things, or Post-It notes --
you can, but you have to read this book first!
I know it may sound like I am Mr. Reese's nephew or something from the way I'm extolling this book, but I'm not, I'm just an avid reader and dreamer who really, really liked this book. You can't go wrong buying it.

Anyone hoping to get a product licensed could not find a better road map than this book. I found almost everything in Harvey
Reeses book helpful.
Best of all he has a very easy style-his ideas are clear, his humorous approach keeps your attention, the cartoons are funny and to the point.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone looking for more ideas on how to license your idea.

I loved this book. It may not be the best business book on licensing but it was inspirational and funny and explained in a
very enjoyable way the process of licensing.
I don't think that everyone has access to presidents of companies like Harvey Reese does but he provided alot of good ideas. Many of the things in the book will require further research but I thought he gave a fun, readable overview of the process with alot of practical advice.

Augmented reality could be many things today. This book is based on the original idea - portable, ubiquitous computing with
but a single user interface, minimized to the absolutely necessary adaptation to the human senses - and it's probably the
most complete book ever written about it.
Does it really make sense that we're filling our rooms with more and more electronic gimmicks and gadgets, including boulders like TVs and PCs, obsolete and junked every 2 years ? - Read this book, and you'll definitely know it doesn't.
The author gives a thrilling survey of new ideas and solutions, all written in a very concrete and readable style, richly illustrated, understandable to almost anyone - which is mandatory, as it really concerns anyone. It's about the future of information technology, from right now on through the next decades at least, about what to expect and for what to prepare.
This doesn't get speculative at all, the author frankly explains and calculates realistic options technology will offer, explains all these new applications that will change our lives.
After an extensive introduction comes a fiction part, illustrating the impact on everyone's everyday life, then a design part handling all aspects of implementation including many new approaches, and finally there's a part about the future of media, especially regarding all the new capabilities calling for three dimensional productions. Some holographic techniques are introduced, for example, that I've never heard about anywhere else.
Don't expect extensive mathematics or even program code however. This is not a textbook (which wouldn't make sense anyway, because it touches so many different disciplines).
There are more issues of course, concerning such a technology that doesn't stop at the user interface at all. Ubiquitous computing raises essential questions. The author shows that computers will more and more become sort of mind extensions, so computer privacy is already getting exceedingly important.
Bottom line: This book is groundbreaking, very relevant, and a must for anyone interested or involved in modern technology.

This is not one of the usual popular science books - this is the blueprint for an entire technology.
The author manages to address both interested 'laymen' and technology experts. The design part makes up half of the book and may be more demanding to read, but even here he explains everything as simply as possible, with many pictures and without requiring any math.
This book doesn't just bother a lot with the state of the art, it goes straight ahead to new shores and explores the tools to get on. Several ideas are most probably entirely new. So the expert will profit a lot from this lecture as well.
One core thematic are displays, a problem simply taken as incurable by many other publications in this field. Without the clear proof that those ultra light, ultra versatile display glasses are actually feasible, the approach wouldn't work, so here it comes. An entire bunch of other technologies belonging to the complete thematic are discussed as well. Many more aspects of the case are addressed, everyday applications are treated extensively, the impact on media, security aspects, anything.
A complete table of contents and the introduction can be found at the book's site theendofhardware.com.
One may object if everything discussed here will really emerge this way, but as to feasibility and applicability, the author delivers good and comprehensive arguments, emphasizes ergonomical aspects, unaffectedly predicts that certain classical hardware like keyboards will seamlessly coexist with the new technology.
The really exceptional content and the way it is written - plain, straightforward, with lots of illustrations and explanations and quite some humor - are making this book a prime recommendation.

This books gives each and every money-making idea a special chapter. For example, when it suggests being a party-helper, it
gives you recipes and advice on how to take things out of the oven. This book would make a good present for young entrepreneurs
who want more advice on how to get started.
