If you want to get yourself or someone you love a special little gift to remind them to follow their intuition - this little book could be a perfect match for your needs.

This isn't a book on how to follow your intuition or a book of great debate - It is a book of quotes and sayings. This could be perfect little pick me up gift to go perfectly with a lovely bunch of flowers!

I didn;t buy this my sponser did - she is always thinking of me and ways to help me - I am a single woman now - I lost my husband after his heartattacks and I am trying to recover from a lifetime of abuse - and trying to keep a good job but it is hard, so she brings me gifts and things she thinks will help me from time to time, although I wish she would stop spending mone this way and if she wants to throw it away then just give it to me - but she said she ahd had a reading from thsi woman - at 200 a head- and she was amazing - so i thought ok I will try it - well it is just a bunch of simple sentences i could have written myself - trust yourself - believe in the beyond -all that jazz - and I want to write and tell people that this doesnt always work. My mother believed that our minister was a good man but he wound up takin her for a ride then leaving town. I thought it would be a good idea to not finish high school and follow my true love - i had vibes tellin me he was the one - so i did and he wound up an iv drug user and gettin me involved in his madness which i am still payin for and have bad circulation from. I thought it woudl be good to follow my vibes and train to be a childcare workers - but when i started and paid money they told me i couldn;'t cause of my felony charges - so cause I followed my soul all these tmes I have wound up jobless with an addiction to anything not nailed down to the floor and a deadbeat mom - so I guess Ms. choquette would say my soul is wrong or I am not followin my real vibes but they were real at the time - and now i am nothin - so don;t trust a lady who is rich and telling you to follow your dream guides - find a good friend who you can talk over thing with - that is better - I don;t even have friends anymore - just a sponser who has to talk to me - and that is from practicing what this lady preaches - I guess if I was einstein I would have not made those mistakes - but then again he didn't face what i did - god bless

This book isn't exactly what I expected, but may be just what I need. It's short, sweet and to the point. One can never have enough wisdom in one's life. It's small enough to carry around with you. I should listen to myself more, and accept that I am also wise. This book is a helpful reminder.

This small book is a pocket-full of quick inspiration to remind us that true knowing lies within and can not be found elsewhere. Sonia prompts us to trust ourselves and she explains how. The book is a philosophy for living an inspired life and does not just reminding us of our intuition, but it educates us about it. This is a great gift and a must have for those who want to learn how to use their intuitive power.

This book is a must have for the dreamer that desires to learn how to interpret dreams and journal. It gives the interpretation of various objects and places in dreams. It's a hand reference book almost similar to a dictionary. I highly recommend this book.

This an excellent tool to help people understand how to interpret dreams. The best part of this book is the dream dictionary that is included. This helps you look up the things in your dreams and identify what they represent. It is easy to use and very accurate. I know of no other resource that provides such a complete and easy format to help understand the meaning of your dreams. I highly recommend this book!

Offers Very Limited information

Was looking for a book that would be an easy and somewhat comprehensive reference to biblical dream symbolism. Upon looking thru the book I found that (in my opinion) the information offered in this book has a very narrow and limited perspective as to the biblical symbolism in dreams. Had I not taken a dream interpretation class taught by John Paul Jackson, a respected dream interpreter of the day, I would have accepted this book as having a more comprehensive viewpoint, but it does not. Bottom line is that the information provided is very much "in the box".

An okay Primer

I have had dreams and visions since I was a child, I also have the gift of interpretation. I would recommend this to those who have not developed this gifting or at least understand its purpose.

However, I think that if the reader wishes to develop their gift, which I believe is for all Christians (You have not because you ask not, and when you do ask you ask a miss - James); a better use of their money would be spent on John Paul Jackson's material. He has an established ministry in this area, I have gone to a seminar and found his teaching well developed and proven (the Bible says to test the spirits). Another great teacher is Pat King out of Canada, eh. I am intending to buy her materials - my good(?)friend doesn't let them out of her house :(

I am sorry that another reviewer was offended by the black man reference, it was a spiritual reference not a racial ephitaph, this is a symbolic reference not a scientifically based book. To be offended by this is to be cheated out of a deeper understanding of the types and shadows in the Bible. The Bible warns about being easily offended so please pray before reading any book that tries to expound on Bible meanings or for that matter the Bible, let the Holy Spirit reveal truth to your heart.

Throughout the Bible "dark" or black shadows represents spiritual evil. God loves all his children and he created them all, none is superior to another. Consider this, only albino's are white, people come in various shades, from beige to jet black, God looks at the heart.

Teaches the basics of Dream Interpretation...

Review Date: 2008-04-28
Dream interpretation is sticky, and even more so for a Christian. How do you interpret dreams with out getting into New Age mumbo jumob? For years I had troubling dreams, and now I just have regular dreams. Still, I had a hunger for knowing what my dreams meant. People like Frued would say they are probably just expressing your deepest inner desires. Psycology says there is no real purpose to dreams, but Christians who believe the Bible, know otherwise.

Most churches wont touch this subject with a ten foot pole, which is a shame because for many people, dreams is the principle way that God speaks to them. So, what do you do? How can you know what your dreams mean?

If finding Godly people who understand dream interpretation are short in your area, there are some reliable books you can read! Steer clear of any non-Christian publication because they will steer you away from God. A Bible based study on dream interpretation will guide you back to the Bible and to prayer.

This book will give you guidelines on how to interpret dreams, but it will NOT interpret them for you. That is between you and God. It gives you some helpful meanings to things that are generally universal in meaning such as: colors, numbers, rooms/buildings, animals, and many other objects or places that may occur in your dreams. Some other useful books include Dream Language: The Prophetic Power of Dreams which explains the nature of the dream according to the Bible, and explains in legnth guidelines for interpreting dreams. Also useful is The Illustrated Bible-Based Dictionary of Dream Symbols, it is basically another dictionary, but it is nice to be able to compare this dictionary to Mr. Milligan's book. I would also suggest Vol. 2 Every Dreamer's Handbook: A Simple Guide to Understanding Your Dreams (Understanding the Dreams You Dream, Vol. 2)of this book as well, because more than a dictionary, it explains the various symbols in legnth.

The only thing you really need to interpret your dreams is a focus on the Bible and understanding God, and trusting that God will give you the interpretation or guide you to someone who will!!! Have fun!

God Bless ~Amy

The clear and simple structure of the book helped as an awakening to my being. Now I am more aware through my feelings and emotions about imbalances on the chakras and how to balance them. the essay section was very enlightening for my being. The exercises and meditations section was very helpful to balance the chakras. This book has become one of my bed-side reference source. I feel this book as a friendly advisor in my journey through earth.

This book did exactly what it set out to do and more. I am fairly new with the chakras myself, knowing only bits about each one. This book not only gave me vast and key information on each chakra, but also gave insight on problems you can have if they are unbalanced and includes tips and meditations on how to improve each one. The book also includes a chakra chart in the end that summarizes key points and things to remember on each one plus a section on "essays" (2-3 pages tops) where he gives you his own take on chakras. I became interested in chakras a few months ago and this is honestly one of the best resources I have found on it. Pond not only gives you just the right amount of information to leave you satisfied (as it is a fairly short book), but also gently guides you into finding out how to awaken different parts of yourself. I was truly impressed. I highly reccommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning more about chakras.

For true beginners, I'm sure this has value. For anyone who has been doing yoga, the Kabbalah, whatever, for years, this book is old news. Very few exercises are included, and it's too short to help anyone on a more advanced path, IMO.

Would not recommend this as a beginning chakra book.

I am brand new to chakras, and after reading the reviews I thought this would be an excellent book to start with. I started reading it as soon as I received it. I was extremely disappointed. I MADE myself keep reading, until I was up to about the 5th chakra, and then decided I wouldn't torture myself anymore. I picked up another book I had ordered on chakras, started reading it, and was immediately fascinated by the subject. The other book was by Ambika Wauters, I think her introductory book, called The Book of Chakras; Discover the Hidden Forces Within You. The Book of Chakras: Discover the Hidden Forces Within You She is very informative. But the best part was, she's easy to understand, but doesn't talk like she's on the playground. I'm not sure exactly how to explain it, but I didn't like the style of this guy at all. After reading it, it just sounded like garbage to me. This book is very simplistic and informal; maybe I just need a more intellectual type approach, I don't know. I was looking for a beginner's book, but definitely not this one. I'm glad I got one that was really cheap!

Possibly, this book might be good for children. I guess I felt this was written more at a child's level; very minimal useful information is given, as far as I'm concerned. (I realize the author specifically says this is for beginners! But that's what I am!)

Good Training Manual

Review Date: 2008-04-08
This book can be used, page-for-page, to train people in basic prophetic ministry. It takes the position that the prophetic is not strictly for a few elite and specially gifted people, but that any believer can learn to exercise the gift for profitably (pun intended; sorry!).

But the book is perhaps more useful as a guide, a resource, for prophetically gifted individuals to train others prophetically: it works well to use this book as an outline for discussion, as a reference book for unusual questions, and as a comfort that others have encountered these challenges and overcome them.

Mr. Vallotton is not afraid to look at unusual spiritual and prophetic experiences and learn from them, and his questions for discussion are both thought-provoking and practical.

Get the book and use it.

GREAT basic manual for learning prophetic ministry. Only wish two things were added: 1) the levels/functioning of the prophet. John Sanford talks about 12 of these. 2) On the chapter regarding etiquette, some basics such as remember to use breath mints, watch your dress (no low cut necks for women), etc... Otherwise a fabulous book!

A Great Teacher From Bill Johnson's Bethel Church

You'll be surprised by how "meaty" this short trainer's book is. It's not just head knowledge. It's training for the Prophetic "Ministry" - a training where you can turn and minister unto the Lord. I guarantee that you'll be edified and receive fresh revelation as you study Kris' teaching. All you need is a humble, hungry heart and a willingness to learn from someone who actually lives out what they preach. Kris adds encounter stories of the impact of the Spirit of prophecy upon his church, school and ministry at Bethel Church in Redding, CA. They're truly incredible and encouraging. There's also a Life Application section at the end of each chapter so that your training doesn't just end with this book but it can be applied to your life (from dreams to hearing God's voice to discerning spirits to seeing the "gold" in people...)

Some of my friends are attending the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry and have reported such a great transformation as they take their training out into the streets (it's just like when Jesus sent out the disciples two-by-two after years of hiddeness and just listening and learning from Him). Our small group is currently half way done with this book and are preparing to apply it in our community. It's time to be AWAKENED -- Don't you want to be a part of what God has intended for this generation? I sure do.

If you are looking for a simple and basic Bible Study on the Prophetic Ministry than this is a good place to start. Kris Volloton touches the very basics in this book and gives an overview of what the prophetic is all about. If you know nothing about the prophetic than get this Bible Study. If you are looking for more indepth and "meat" you should look for another book by Kris.

Carolyn Myss' audio sessions tend to be spirited and insightful, and this is no exception. The invocations are a lovely contrast of calm and warmth to her impassioned discussions. Some describe what I receive as passion and conviction as judgemental and shrill. If you asked her yourself I would wager that she would agree that she has these tendencies - but so what? Carolyn Myss never passes herself off to be anything other that Who She Is, and I love it!

This latest work brings together ideas previously explored under the banner of self-esteem, together with the more soulful aspects of communion with God through prayer, as desribed in Entering the Castle, reflecting the work and words of Teresa of Avila. Steve McNamara's meditative compositions beautifully bookend both the CDs and the invocations. Channeling Grace - herein lies timeless and beautiful wisdom for living fearlessly in the light, in honesty, in grace; "in the breath of God".

This is a 2-CD set, a total of approximately 2 1/2 hours of primarily lecture with a couple of meditations (referred to as "invocations"). This is my first Caroline Myss product, so I cannot compare it to any of her other materials. It is new material, produced in 2008, and is a "Sounds True" production. Carolyn holds degrees in journalism, theology, and intuition and energy medicine. Let me begin by saying that this material is VERY God-based, so, if "God" offends you, step away from this review now and move on to some other product. If you are still with me, read on.

This is an excellent product, very simple, very easy to understand. Caroline comes off as a sort of preacher. You can listen to most of it in the car, but NOT the "invocations." They are meditative and could send you to "the other side" a little earlier than expected (or to the car dealership). The collection is about establishing a relationship with God and recognizing "grace" and an illumination to the light of God. If I remember correctly, all of the invocations were on the 2nd CD, and they were to "contact grace directly, navigate your path in times of chaos, gain clarity and direction in your life, and heal yourself or others". She even has you floating around the galaxies in the "Breath of God".

The set makes you feel like you are sitting in a personal instructional session with Caroline for the afternoon. It is not about any particular religion but much about experiencing a direct connection with God and the Divine guidance you receive every day. It is so well done I would not hesitate to give this set to a nun for a gift.

In the 2nd disc, Carolyn talks about her astronomer friend from Russia who studies the dynamics of galaxies and the pix he showed her from the Hubble telescope. She tells us these massive views are somewhat representative of God to her, the expansiveness, etc. In the first invocation, you ask God to place a candle in your heart, representing His illumination. You refer back to the candle when you want to talk to Him. She refers back to the candle throughout the CD. Nicely done.
This is a nice CD to gift out, especially for someone who is in need of hope.

Just to close with my personal comment (It's free)-The only thing that doesn't feel exactly right to me, is that Caroline seems to be saying that controlling the mind doesn't do anything for you, only God and your prayers to Him, and pardon me if I am misunderstanding her intent. (She seems to be referring to a lot of material in print that tells you about using your mind to manifest health and abundance in all things.) But, I believe God wants you to work in PARTNERSHIP with Him. I think that's where controlling your mind comes into play. I believe that God wants you to try to do stuff yourself, with His guidance, and to live in peace and gratitude. I believe God wants you to try to participate in your own healing and to learn from the experience. If you just prayed all the time and said, "God, please gimme xxxx," what would your human experience on earth be?

Caroline is certainly say it like it is and don't sugar coat it kind of person. I found myself jumping in spots as Caroline yells at you - but then I know she is extremely passionate about what she is talking about - Grace. This might be off putting to many people but I believe it is because she is passionate about God.

I also found myself confused at times as she seems to put God in a box as "a judgmental someone" out there (the Catholic God I grew up with), and then turns it around that God is NOT "someone" out there but is a loving being out there while simultaneously being a part of us - the God I have come to know. I found that a little disconcerting. I also agree with the other reviewer about the mind. She says the mind plays tricks on you - yes it does. The mind can not heal you. But we are commanded to "love God with all of our hearts, souls and minds". I think there is a good reason mind is mentioned - we need to train our minds to think in line with our heart and soul rather than allow it to wander off on its pseudo intellectual pursuits. We need to practice being present and aware of what is on our minds. There is much more to say about that but for what it's worth that was my 2ยข on the subject.

If you are a person like myself who has wondered what on Earth Grace means, this will answer your questions about it. Aside from the confusion about how she refers to God at times, The meditations / invocations are powerful and oh so beautiful. Caroline Myss has an incredible gift as a wordsmith. This will certainly open your eyes to grace abounding in your life.

Being that I'm often busy, I find this book refreshing, heartfelt and reassuring.

One thing that I love about Deepak's books are that he really tries to get us to get in touch with our spirit and our true inner self. I see this book as a reference to remind us about what our purpose in life really is.

Beautifully written. I highly recommend Deepak's books as a present to a family or a close friend, or just about anyone who's had it rough and needs encouragement. I truly appreciate his writing and hope everyone else will too.. Thanks Deepak!

"Through synchrodestiny, you can finally become the person the universe intended you to be--as powerful as desire, as creative as spirit. All it takes is an eagerness to join the cosmic dance, and a willingness to seek the miracles of the soul." ~ Deepak Chopra from "The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire"

In this fantastic, wisdom-packed, yet quick-read of a book, Deepak talks about a state in which we live our lives with "an appreciation of coincidences and their meanings," where we are connected with "the underlying field of infinite possibilities."

He calls this state "synchrodestiny." It's a state "in which it becomes possible to achieve the spontaneous fulfillment of every desire."

I like the sound of that! :)

The book walks us through, in the inspiring and wise style that Deepak has mastered, the ideas we need to embody in order to consistently live connected to source and allow ourselves to experience the magic of synchrodestiny.

If you're like me, I have no doubt "The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire" would be a wonderful addition to your collection.

This book really put all the pieces together for me; it makes complete sense. I am only 21 and feel I am lucky, not only because my mother gave me this book, but also because I have truly understood it at a relatively young age. "Remembering Wholeness" is eye opening and empowering at the same time. One of my favorite chapters is the one titled, "The Universe is Abundant"...definitely one of those jaw-dropping sections!!

This book has answered so many long held questions with perfect clarity and understanding.

I've been studing the law of attraction for over 6 years and find this book to fill in the spiritual aspects that seemed to be missing from so many other authors and teachers.

Thank you Carol for your wisdom and gifts.

A comment for "philosophies of men mingled with scripture"

The concepts of choosing to do things to each other here on earth that would cause us to have to forgive is not a concept of God "brokering" these contracts. That seems a little exaggerated. The idea behind the "little spirit" is simply this. When we choose to see our perpetrators as something other than perpetrators it becomes easier to forgive them.

We choose to do things that require forgiveness all the time, sometimes out of ignorance and regretfully on purpose, but on some level, we CHOSE to do it. Do I believe that we make contracts with each other to inflict pain and suffering before we came to earth? No, but it was a given that we would submit to evil, and do things that would require forgiveness and when we can see our offenders as perfect spirits who have been caught in evil, it is so much easier to forgive and let God handle it.

There is darkness and light in every book written by the hand of man. He who seeks for fault will find it, he who seeks for truth will find it as well. No one should claim this book to be scripture, and ANYTHING written by men is "the philosophies of men mingled with scripture" unless otherwise specified as scripture. Look at the light this book brings. I have had multiple personal experiences of transformational healing for myself my family and my clients as a Rapid Eye Technician and Life Coach. The concepts of this book can bring people to Christ. Carol has a gift in making practical sense out of vague concepts. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water, see the fruits, they are there.

Changing Negative Thought Patterns Through Angel Therapy

Review Date: 2008-01-20
I found Doreen Virtue's Angel Therapy to be an inspiring guide to contacting the benevolent form of oneself and higher, angelic beings. These guides exist to assist each individual's journey toward such various aims as purity, health, creativity, life purpose, and, of course, love.

To cite an example, Doreen Virtue explains, being a psychologist, that one should learn to monitor his/her thought patterns. Fear is an illusion and purification from negative ways of thinking can be achieved through a communication with a higher form of an existing benevolent force. Only LOVE is eternal.

Doreen's book is an inspiring resource for transforming thought patterns in a positive manner. Writing on fear, Doreen explains an antidote,
"This rythym of eternal love is, in fact, the anchor that will save you from additional fear during the coming times ahead. Like the ticking beat of a mother's heart that calms and cradles a baby, your essence already contains the antidote to fear. Use this time now for preparation, by adjusting your mind and body rythym in gentle practice periods that you can use and call forth during periods ahead."

In final chapters, she includes a brief list of archangels and lists their functions. They include Michael - who reduces negativity, such as fear, and defends both goodness and light. Also he acts to protect and behave mercifully. Gabriel's purpose is divine counsel. Uriel - transformation, forgiveness, relationships, motivation, and inspiration. Raphael, seeking to guide those who are in search of healing, rules all aspects of healing, and protects travelers of every sort. He rules also over creativity, and emits a radiant emerald light. His strength of purification may surrender a symptom, for example toxic rage, which may be the source of a health problem.

She also teaches means and ways of communicating with the angels, purification, as well as developing a sense of safety.

I must admit, at first glance this book - as many self-help books do - seemed light, entertaining reading. But once I practiced therapeutic prayer, and each time I read an essay, that was a string of advice, it sunk in with more clarity. Communication with angels has been an excellent source of healing for me. It has also been a god-sent secondary healing force for the other who exists in my life. I am thankful for Doreen's gifts, and also to those angels whom I sense, imagine, and believe.

Doreen Virtue's Trademark Angel Product

Review Date: 2007-03-18
There are a lot of dangerous products in the market right now and one very deceptive writer is Doreen Virtue whose Ph.D. is from a degree mill in California. Virtue's claim to fame is that she is teaching the world how to work with the angelic realm. Her trademark product is called Angel Therapy which is about working with one's angels to manifest what they want.

Wow ... in the Holy Bible whenever someone was met with an angel their reaction was one of fear. Angels are messengers and they reveal themselves to people to tell them to do God's bidding. Virtue has revised this ancient role by telling people that the angels are our errand boys just like the Greek pagan myth of Mercury and his winged feet!

Now everyone is entitled to their beliefs. The Crusades were a dark example in Christian when faith went out of hand and people killed in the name of God. However, one must always consider the source. It is not uncommon for employers to do a background check on potential workers. Nor is it foolish to interview a surgeon before deciding on having them operate on you. So ... let's consider the source of all these seemingly beautiful angel messages.

Doreen Virtue is on her fourth marriage to a man named Steven Farmer, who is a plastic shaman at best and promoting the pagan practice of animal spirit worship. Her Ph.D. is from an unaccredited Clarkson University (at least the Ph.D. program is not accredited) and she charges $2500 to train someone to become a medium. Doreen claimed to have worked at a psychiatric hospital that is now closed and when people call to verify her employment the response is vague at best. If I were an investor this would spell penny stock to me.

Nonetheless, I challenge readers to return to the Holy Bible for guidance on this and any other teacher. First, the good book says that even the Devil himself and his demons disguise themselves as angels of light. Their lure and promise is that you TOO could be like God. Of course, having been a high ranking angel before his fall, the dark side leader himself knows the bible inside out to twist you into believing its OK to play with sorcery. Buyer beware in this age of spiritual commercialization.

Every major religion demands sublimation to God. Every major religion in its pure form has rules. The Old and New Testament forbid idolatry and many of these New Age guru are akin to the gold lamb that God destroyed when the Israelites forgot that he delivered them out of bondage in Egypt. By following without discernment New Age writers with belief systems contrary to Christianity ... you are walking back into bondage whether you agree or not.

Finally, God is NOT your errand boy and neither are the Archangels, angels, seraphim, etc. You are here to serve God and the angels has said in the bible not to worship them instead of God but to call on them to protect from dark forces. There are only 7 Archangels not the 109 made-up names that Doreen Virtue invented. If she invented her Ph.D. and professional background, she probably invented these other spiritual beings or perhaps they are running her. Nonetheless.... as God is my witness ... I declare that these New Age books are potentially violations of the First Commandment. In the end, no matter what magic the Egyptian Sorcerers pulled on Moses, it was God's will that was done .... Pharaoh's earthly power was no match and the Israelites were set free.

The best cure is prevention of spiritual bondage ... trust wholly in God and him alone.

The Angel Therapy movement is akin to the story of the Apostle Paul and his meeting with the witch of Endor.....

Final Thoughts on Doreen as a spiritual teacher which applies to all spirit-based teachers, and since Doreen is using the Judeo-Christian concept of angels I'll offer some guidance from this particular religious tradition:

(Sirach 37:7-9 on caution in taking advice)

All counselors praise the counsel they give
But some give counsel in their own interest
Be wary of a counselor
and learn first what is his interest
for he will take thought for himself

So ..... Sirach 37:12-15 offers this additional guidance

Instead, associate with a religious man, who you are sure keeps the commandments; Who is like-minded with yourself and will feel for you if you fall.
Then, too, heed your own heart's counsel; for what have you that you can depend on more?
A man's conscience can tell him his situation better than seven watchmen in a lofty tower.
Most important of all, pray to God to set your feet in the path of truth.

I LOVED the review by the young person that said "T. Miller doesn't know what he is talking about". Out of the mouths of babes... I love Ms. Virtues books and having had many experiences and help myself, IN ADDITION TO A VISITATION during a very severe illness (NO it wasn't a hallucination, I was AWAKE AND VERY AWARE), I KNOW I have my guardian angel as well as others that help me when I need it and ask. DID HE NOT READ THE PART IN THE BIBLE THAT SAID THAT GOD GAVE THE ANGELS CHARGE OVER US? He states he used to be an atheist, it shows, his heart is STILL CLOSED and hardened to some important parts of spirituality. Ms. Virtue not only teaches you about the wonders and miracles of having YOUR OWN guardian angel (and others that assist) but about faith, hope, and about all the different ways that God helps and how he may send help. Even if you are skeptical, it beats being hopeless, helpless and bitter. I have known SO many "so called "christian" that come up with things that WHO knows WHERE they got the idea from, at least THIS HAS ROOTS IN THE RIGHT PLACE. All her books are interesting and uplifting and very helpful and hopefull to read. They definetly improved my outlook and gave me a more peaceful, calm and better feeling and a better state of mind and attitude. I would recommend any of her books. Angels have been spoken of in religion and the bible so I sincerely DOUBT the are "new age stuff". Speak to anyone who has had a N.D.E., serious illness or a strange encounter with someone that they couldn't explain, but it changed the course of something in their life in a good and helping way. They will tell you how comforting it is to know you have been granted by God to have someone with you all the time the HE picked out to be YOUR guardian. How wonderful to be taught how to communicate with that God given being when you feel like it or need it and to know that they are there with you just waiting. Oh, T.Miller... "For he will command his angels concerning you to Guard you in all your ways" Psalms 91:11 Check it out. And then NEVER put down someone for believing in Angels. Apparently, someone BIGGER AND BETTER THAN YOU DOES TOO, IN FACT HE BROUGHT THEM TO BEING!

I had to send mine back twice and now will wait for the publisher to fix it but amazon.com has the best customer service ever. They won't sell another one until the problem is fixed but do not buy any used copy yet, it might be the version with the missing pages.

As always an excellent Ships of the line calendar. I have been purchasing them since 2001. This year is mixture of pre generations and beyond star trek art though the emphasis is on the rather forgetable tv series Enterprise(for some odd reason) and the orginal star trek(very understandable because of the upcoming movie). As always some of the art is really very appealing while some are rather forgetable but as always brings out the star trek fan in me. I especially like the wide-screen layout which really brings out the best of the art by displaying it in paranomic format. My only gripe is(and has been for last 3 years) is the non-photo realistic but rather a drawn aspect of the pictures. Theses calendars really used to stand out when an emphasis was put to make the art photo realistic like the TV shows and movies.

Well I think the calendar was worth the purchase price but they are rooms for improvement namely photo-realism and moving away from Enterprise era.

No more Voyager

Thats the only thing that bugs me about these series of calendars.
I'm trying to forget that goddawfull show ever existed.
Along with Kathryn Lameway.
It doesn't take 78 years to cross the galaxy,
not if you are aware of the Mandel scale
ie Star Trek Maps' Introduction to Navigation.
In contrast to the dweeb who wants to see less
of TOS I want to see more including derivative
designs from and similar to the blueprints and original as from
the New Voyages with a only sprinkling of TNG & DS9.
Those of you aka Joshua Bell who like to kiss
Micheal Okuda's [...] you forget that in traditional
publishing it is those that publish FIRST who win.
Only in trek fandom do you it get backwards!!!
Mainly by newbies. (except Shane Johnston who just has his dates wrong)
Other than that this is a fine work, even that part where
the artist went conceptual rather than going the commercial/industrial
art route.
Finally since the dweebs have me good and angry,
the Reliant (WoK) is an Avenger class Frigate, not a so-called
Miranda.
