This book is excellent and I recommend it for anyone interested in spirituality and the spiritual path.

Simple, direct, yet profound. Rings true and strikes a cord. Any book that I read 3 times and can't let go of, says a lot. This man's life is filled with higher purpose and synchronicity, and amazing phenomena. He doesn't try to come up with answers for everything, or even a whole lot, he just tells his story and draws you in, deeply. I sensed humility and an absolute devotion to his higher purpose, avoiding unnecessary distraction and minutia. And after sharing his fascinating experiences and discoveries, he leaves you with detailed instructions and a CD (included with the book). The only complaint I have is that I want this book to be much longer.

This book is a real gift to humanity - contains tools to take us into our inner heart temple where we can access the 5th dimensional frequency of unconditional love & liquid light.
Anyone who resonates with Drunvalo Melchizadek's work will love this book.

All of Drunvalo's books are written with amazing insight and depth and this book is no exception. The written word is only the first step with this book as it energetically moves one into the heart. This book is at the top of my list of 'must read' spiritual material.

Living in the heart, wonderful title ,brilliant book, genuine guidance on how to enter into the sacred space within the heart.was most surprised to learn that there is a specific area within the heart which is NEVER TOUCHED by surgeons because it results in instant death. We hear a lot about the heart and the heart chakra in many new age books, which make you feel there is something you are missing if you are unable to 'feel' yourself in your heart,or working/loving from your heart. If you are not that aware of the inner senses in your body, it all seems very much 'out there' and not reachable and you can give up really understanding it all from our 3D dimension. Drunvalo explains what to expect and how to achieve , as he gives details of his own experience and his ups and downs , how he felt etc. He 'takes you' into his world and shows you how.

This little jewel of a book is just what the doctor ordered for all of the fans of Pearls Before Swine's looney Croc Fraternity. Just the hilarious introduction is worth the purchase price alone.

Another great feature of this "Book o' Frendsheep" is that each strip in in vivid color. It brings the Crocs to life even more. I just wish the book was longer because the Crocs are so dang funny.

I really love the Croc's! They are all my neighbors rolled into one - I think even a few have followed me into work once and a while. The never give up attitude and dogged determination makes for a book that is just fun to give (which I plan on), read and laugh out loud. In these times we all need the comics to see some humor in life. Of course I would like to have the book be thicker, but that is true of all of the Pearls books. Buy this book just for fun - and enjoy.

This is a compilation of what the Hicks teach in a small 'gift' type format. Each page features colorful art surrounding a little circle in its center with a few sentences within it. I returned it as it was not described as such. But it would make a nice gift as a 'daily contemplation' book.

I bought this book knowing nothing about it. And then wondered if I really needed it when I have all the other Hicks/Abraham Books. But this one has turned out to be my favourite, and it is already well worn, travels with me everywhere, and is dipped into often.

I've been a student of the Abraham-Hicks work for about a year and have read many of the books, listened to CD's, subscribe to the newsletter - I even receive the daily emailed quotes - but this little book is really something special. It has an energy that is charming, engaging, helpful and insightful - all of which it lovingly imparts to the reader. I love this little book!

This is a momentous day in history....well, my personal history. This is my 316nth review for amazon. So? So, you say? Well, let's put it together, shall we...my name is John and I was born on March 16...still saying, "so what?" Have you ever heard of John 3:16...

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Who is the one and only son? Is it Jesus or is it you...is it me...is it everyone of us? I believe that there is only one of us and we are all reflections of that Divine Source and the only reason why we are here is to remember that we are co-creators with the Divine and this little gem of a book can help you in that remembering process.

Sometimes when we look at life from a year's perspective, we can be blown away by the sheer enormity of it all. But when we take that year apart and realize that it comes one day at a time, we can take small, gradual steps and those "tiny steps" can reap some huge rewards in every aspect of our lives.

"Abraham" asserts that we are here to feel good. I believe that we are. If you asked me that a mere fifteen years ago, I would've thought you were crazy. We are here to enjoy this life and the nxt one and the next one after that, but whatever life we're in, we can only live it moment by moment.

This book will help bring you into the moment and after a year has gone by you can look back and say, "Whoa...I did all of that?" Of course you did...when you align with Joy, all things are possible because you, my child, are Possibility Itself!

This a beautiful, little book...pleasing to the eye and to the mind!
This book is a useful tool to encourage positive thinking. A better feeling is only one thought away!

The page layouts in this book are easy to use, and can be simple or complex depending on which embellishments, papers, etc you use. The cards are handy to keep with your scrapbooking stuff for some on-the-spot inspiration.

I have alot of ideas books, but this one is the best!!! Becky Fleck is amazing. She not only had all original sketches in this book but comes up with news ones month after month. The icing on the cake-the cards. You don't have to carry the book with you everywhere you go. I slip the cards in my page planner and take it from there.

And the small "to go" cards are brilliant. I can carry them in my purse, and they help me take better, smarter photos, too. Love this whole package!

I love this book. It is full of great ideas and maps of layouts that are really creative.

This book really helped me get out of a slump, you know, when three or four scrapbook pages start looking the same???

The punch out cards in the back make this book a portable, inspirational goldmine

This is one of the greatest books ever written in English. I have reread it many times and have given countless copies away. It ia priceless! It works!

You will certainly gain something significant from this book if you have an open mind. It has truly and profoundly changed my life in incredibly positive ways, and with instant results. I am definitely going to share ideas from this book with the class I teach on overcoming self-doubt and increasing self-confidence and compassion. I thank Shakti for sharing these illuminating ideas.

Although I certainly haven't yet mastered the techniques, I now have tools that I can use to cultivate peace of mind, compassion, and inner happiness.

Recently I picked up my copy of Creative Visualization and noted that I had written four big goals in March 2003 onto pages in the back of the book. By October 2004, I realized that three of the four goals were already complete and the fourth is still ongoing. I was so impressed with this that I have written two more big goals into the back of the book and I will order her Creative Visualization Workbook to enhance this experience. I don't know how it works, nor, according to Gawain, do we have to know -- just let the Universe manifest the details ... and it does. Easy to read; easy to understand. Shakti Gawain teaches, like the Buddha, with an "open hand" and no "secrets" held back.

The author shows you how to use creative visualization to change your life. This tool shows you how to use your imagination, meditation to create the life you choose. An easy to read book, the author gives you exercises to achieve your desires. This book written in 2002 is a very hot topic today. A favorite book of mine Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbookalso embraces all these tools for the purpose also of living the secret (law of attraction) everyday.

Shakti Gawain was the original bearer of the big SECRET! I loved her book when it first came out, and I still love it, often referring to it whenever I need to get back on track, be it creative endeavors or simply when things go askew in the course of everyday life. A timeless gem.

Amazing! So Much Personal Power in such a small Book! Easy read and Makes you Think! I've only read the first two books so far but they showed up at a time of upheaval in my life. Who doesn't ever have That? Whether your life is in flux or no, This is a Must Read for Change.

Both a timely and timeless read, Happier Than God is another book by Neale Donald Walsh I would highly recommend. Its seemingly simple dialogue has a captivating and very real impact. I found it both intriguing and desirable to incorporate the ideas into my life as I have with the other Conversations With God series. And being the ever evolving soul that i am, i am most grateful for more gentle reminders of the truths we could be living right here right now if we choose.

I must admit I would like to think it is possible to be "Happier Than God". I am certainly not there, but I understand I'm my own worst enemy. I enjoyed it so much I read it twice. I would highly recommend it to those looking to enrich their lives.

I am often referred to at my church as the irreverent reverend. I say things that shock people. Things like "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Blessed is he who just comes..." Most people laugh. Maybe it's out of nervousness, I don't know, but I really, really, really think that God has just an incredible sense of humor and I really, really, really think that anyone who does "God's Work" must also have a sense of humor. Kinduv like that old joke:

Why do angels have wings?

Because they take themselves lightly.

I've always enjoyed Neale Donald Walsch's books. He's very presumptious about a lot of things. He basically says that all who are reading this book (Happier Than God) caused it to happen.

What?

You caused it to happen. You. You had an impulse and you acted on that impulse. And not only did you cause this book to appear in your life, but you have caused everything that is in your life at this very moment to appear in your life...including me. And guess what? I caused you to appear in my life, as well.

Of course, this is a book by a man who "claimed" to have had more than a few Conversations with God....

Brave is what I would call him.

He is challenging which is exactly why one should read him. Like I said, I've read his books since the very beginning and no matter how many times I read his stuff I get new insights. Not because Neale is giving them to me, but because, once again, I caused it to happen. I was ready for it.

What's that great line from Henry the V?

All things be ready if the mind be so.

Some people aren't ready for this kind of stuff. It doesn't mean that one is stupid or ignorant or foolish, they're just not ready for it. A lot of people weren't ready for what Jesus had to say, either. I'm not comparing Neale Donald Walsch to Jesus by any means, but just like the quote he uses from George Bernard Shaw:

All great truths start as blasphemies.

We'd like to say that if we were in Jesus' time or Buddha's time or Socrates time, we follow them anywhere to learn from them. But would we? We like to cling to our old beliefs, our ideas, our opinions.That's why our lives don't seem to change very much --- because we don't change!

He says "We do not need God for anything." Now before you get your knickers in a bunch, he states in the next page (if you stll have the book in your hands), "Not needing God is not the same as not having any use for God..."

And then he quotes scripture, which I agree with some of the reviewers in that he should've cited the passage, "I am with you always, even until the end of time..." (Matthew 28:20)

Do we believe this? No, we don't...but people, that's a promise straight from Scripture. We aren't alone in this. In Truth we are all-one in this.
Being happy, feeling fulfilled, experiencing joy doesn't come from everyone believing exactly the same thing. That would be so dull. Real Joy...being really happy comes from letting people be who they need to be.

There are a lot of people who walk around as if their underwear were on backwards. Come on, people...lighten up. Like that really old joke,

Why do dogs lick themselves?
Because they can...

You can be happy because God created you that way already.

I bought this for my dad for his birthday a few months ago because I consider him to be a remarkable person as well. He thoroughly loved it and is having my mom now read it. If my dad says it's good than it is so.

Great collection from ordinary to famous people - from the series titled "This I Believe" on Public Radio. Bought as a gift to inspire a young writer.

Short stories that share the reality and persistence of the common American. Some really hit home. Others are lighthearted and yet profound.
Recommended.

A book that is worth the words that they are written on. Personal beliefs are unique due to individual lifestyles which are reflected by the inspirational essays making up this book. Spend your money and you will be very glad you did.

I have to agree with another reviewer...this is banal and boring. Most of the essays are highly repetitive (i.e. be good to others, have faith in God, be a good role model, make peace not war...blah,blah,blah). Sure, people have a right to their beliefs and I do not presume to argue against those; nonetheless, the beliefs are uninspired and typical, revealing little more than "Wow, we all want the world to be a better place, and it can only come about if you believe what I believe."

This ties into my final point: virtually all of the essays had a didactic tone. Growing up in the midwest, I have no desire to be taught what I should believe.

Great book. I started to browse through the book before listening to the CD. The CD in the back of the book is 99% the same as the book. A few words off here and there but not a big deal. I have it in my car right now. I love the daily affirmations for each chapter. (Prospertiy, self esteem, work etc.)

Great gift for yourself or for others.

I love this book! Louise Hay has a peaceful, joyful way of writing and speaking. This book comes with a CD, with Louise reading the book. It is great to listen to in the car. I also enjoy reading from this book everyday. I like the way it is divided into important life issues so it's easy to go right to the one that will help you in any particular situation. This book gives you positive affirmations to help you in all areas of life. I love Louise's message and her loving, quiet way of getting it across. It's a small book so you don't get bogged down in a long read. I am very pleased with this book and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in improving their own self-talk and improving their general attitude towards life.

This is a great little book and CD. It has helped my husband and I so much. I really recommend it! :-)

Louise is an incredible teacher. I love the cd that comes with this book, and the power and assertiveness in her voice and message. She suggests a 30 day listening regimen, and I'm doing it.

Not what I expected.

this is the 3rd book I have read by the Hicks. I just loved it how it explains the Law of Attraction and how to apply it. They make it so simple and easy to follow ...has changed my life. Another book along the same lines is Living The Secret Everyday: My Secret Workbookwhich is tremendous with all the exercises you can use to help you apply this law.

This is really really great follow up to Ask and it is Given. The book has many great practical applications of the concepts laid out in Ask and it is Given.
You will really like it.

We used this book for several classes at the Hollywood Center for Positive Living in Florida and it was really well recieved. If you liked "Ask and it is givin" You will like this too. If channeled material bothers you and you can set that asside I think there is much here to appreciate. As always the Universe is saying "Yes" to you so "Living the Art of ALLOWING" Good and creating deliberately with intention can be a great assist to anyone wanting to change their life experience for the better.

I just finished reading this book. I really got a lot out of it.

I must say I was a bit leary at first about Abraham and the authors. I still can't quite buy into the idea that everything I ask for is given to me, or that the authors are so confident in their healthy emotions they cancelled their medical insurance or that every disastor victim attracted their misfortunes with "bad vibs."

Having said that, it is truly a wonderful study in positive thinking and really simple, but effective techniques to improve your emotions and outlook on life. That part really does work! All and all I got a lot out of the book and am thankful I read it. Do I beleive every work as it is written, let's say I have my doubts. Read it with an open mind and take for it what works for you.

As always I was able to find the product I was looking for and it did arrive as scheduled. No complaints! No complications! Amazon never fails me.
