The Voyagers series presents exceptional, in-depth Spiritual Wisdom. The information conveyed by Voyagers includes knowledge that can only be acquired by studying many different scriptures, and even at that, these books contain more detailed Spiritual Science and ascension techniques than can be found elsewhere. I recommend going even further and getting the course offered by Azuritepress, "The Tangible Structure of the Soul".
Combining this Wisdom with Meditation, etc. is a powerful platform for conscious evolution.

My analysis

1) A lot of pessimist statements, no scientific base for conclusions, use of silogistic tricks, danger book to be study by suggestable people.
2) It could causes fear, paranoia, ego projection, alternate state of consciousness... durty tricks to get your attention.
3) Very negative, no hope for the future, to many universal quantifiers, and qualifiers, false science, no proof, and no source.
- You have to go to seminars.... check the price !! you going to have a heart attack.
4) Don't lose your time and don't lose your money... 6) Everything that is on the Books V1 and V2 will be repeted over and over
7) Each explanation will take you to nowhere.
8) The books teach WRONG definition and WRONG concepts, against science and good sense.
9) It is just a BAIT to manipulate you... you buy the book, then you buy the material then you buy the seminar...More material, more seminars, etc.

10) 2012 is just another year... go to school, get a good job and be happy with your family.

Yes, the books talk about dark forces, fallen angelics, earth doomed, history and lots of technical stuff and much more! But how could that be disempowering? Just the very opposite, better to know what is REALLY going on on Earth and the Galaxy than just thinking that we walk in a bed of roses and that the shift of Consciousness generally presented by the New Age movement will save us just like that.

The teachings are overwhelming at the beginning, but if you resonate with it, you will soon see the beauty of knowing and learning what is presented.

To me this work was an eye opener and I actually feel less fearful and more empowered; this is preparing me to better receive whatever comes in the near future.

Ever felt like you didn't quite fit on planet earth with the mind numbing, never-ending routine of trivia that fills up our lives? Not to mention the obvious dirth of information about why we are here, where we came from and where we might be headed. If this even remotely describes feelings that you have struggled with most of your life then do yourself a favor and buy this book. It is intense, complex and sometimes difficult to read but if you stick with it you will be rewarded. This book will definitely help you decrease your level of ignorance about yourself and life on the planet - you can replace tired and worn out stories about human history with a good solid knowledge about what really happened. I have looked high and low through countless new age books and Voyagers was the first book that really fofilled my sense of longing. After every other book I had read, I found myself still searching, but after Voyagers, I no longer needed to search. That is not to say that everything you ever needed to know can be found in this book, it is more of an introduction to a larger body of work where you can find information on everything you wanted to know, and then some. If you are genuinely looking for answers, then don't take my word for it, or any one else's for that matter... just read it for yourself and decide for yourself if it is right for you.

This book is one that I would recommend to the intermediate to advanced quilter without reservation. The directions are very clear, the photos are fabulous and the options are endless using her suggestions for splitting diamonds and mix and matching the borders. This is a pattern book and reference book that you will return to again and again for inspiration. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT.

those of us who have been making lone star quilts for a while will instantly know that the cutting chart in the back of the book is incorrect.....all of it! diamonds are measured one way, the strips to cut them, another. check the authors' website for corrections, but be advised, the chart is still wrong. Adding a half an inch to the size of a diamond does not give you the size of strip to cut. Her projects are probably OK though.

A good book on making eight pointed star quilts

This beautifully produced book concentrates on the theme of making star quilts - not 12 inch block pattern stars but those gorgeous large lone stars which cover a whole quilt top with one huge star made up of hundreds of tiny diamonds.

Rotary cutting and machine paper piecing methods are used in this book to create some particularly intricate quilts which include curved piecing and many sharp points to match. Some of the patterns included split the diamonds down the middle which further increases the complexity of the pieces - and the workmanship in the sample quilts is superb.

There is a large gallery of different quilts, many of which use very brightly coloured fabrics. I don't greatly care for the way very busy fabric prints are used in some of the pieces both in the gallery and in the pattern section. I feel that the busy floral prints obscure the intricate designs which are beautifully pieced and finished. Don't expect a lot of large bed quilt patterns either - although the quilts could be laid on top of a bed the average size of the completed patterns is 50 inches square.

Fabric selection and design is also discussed and there is a selection of different templates to help you begin creating your own original Lone Star quilt layout.

This is not a book for the beginner. The quilt patterns are pieces for the advanced worker who knows what she is doing. However it provides plenty of inspiration for the experienced quilter.

This book is a great one!

I took Jan's class and can see why she was voted teacher of the year. She is really great and the book is a very nice one. Do check her website for the corrections, I like the way she squares up the sections of the stars so they go together really nicely. I have 3 of them ready to quilt!

Even though I have not made many quilts, I took the plunge and enrolled in a class for the Spiral Lone Star pattern from this book. Incredibly, the quilt truly did turn out to be "much easier than it looks" as promised by the teacher. Krentz has broken the intricate designs into workable sections and simplified the construction techniques for each section. These quilts will challenge you to explore color and movement in every piece, with thrilling and satisfying results.

Trust Your Vibes in the Confusing World of Work
Helpful Votes: 1 out of 6 total.
Review Date: 2007-03-16
This is a great book on fine tuning your inner gut sense in life. Like Choquette says ... whales have sonar ... birds have radar ... and people have their sixth sense ... this book is very helpful for those trained out of their inner trusting whether by environment or early childhood experiences. Packed with real life stories to build your reservoir of trust in your own gut sense!

Sonia Choquette's 'The Psychic Pathway' was introduced to me in 1996. I read her work, went to a few workshops in Chicago, and continued to follow her newer material when she began working with Hay House. This is probably one of the last of her great writings. Sadly, Choquette's woo-woo has gotten out of hand. The gift that brought her public recognition isn't what it used to be after this book was released. Now she is all about channeled guides and other far out theories ... no longer sounding like the self that got her where she is today. Sure a writer adapts but Trust Your Vibes is a fantastic last look at the real Sonia before her soul teaching turned into more of keeping up her game than being of service. This happened to other great psychics .... the fame and fortune they craved resulted in loss of accuracy in the end. Get this book and savor the final authenticity of Sonia before she went woo-woo overload and claimed past lives as a rock star on Saturn. I kid you not she said this on her radio show so the evidence is out there.

By the way .... Choquette's Ph.D. is from the American Institute of Holistic Theology in Alabama, an unaccredited institution. It is not 100% clear that she graduated or left with papers from the University of Denver or the Sorbonne (these two are accredited) but I may be wrong. So ... if anything in her book feels off ... don't mistrust your own vibes about Sonia's guidance just because of her "Ph.D.".

Choquette studied religion at Denver so I will also leave you with this given she refers to herself as being raised Catholic and one who prays the rosary:

1 Timothy 4:1 (New International Version)
1The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

2 Corinthians 11:14-15 (New International Version)
14And no wonder, for the Dark One himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

Leviticus 19:31 (New International Version)
31 " 'Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.

1 Timothy 4:1 (New International Version)
1The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

2 Corinthians 2:11 (New International Version)
11in order that the Dark One might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.

Deuteronomy 18:10-12 (New International Version)
10 Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in [a] the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft, 11 or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead. 12 Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you.

1 Peter 1:13 (New International Version)
13Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.

**** Does the Pope know that Sonia claimed in her own autobiography to have been taught by Jesus Christ himself to be psychic in a past life? Perhaps she should cannonize her right now!******

Fantastic Guide to Vocational Satisfaction...the Six-Sensory Way!
Helpful Votes: 28 out of 28 total.
Review Date: 2005-11-27
"If you're ready to stop struggling with fear and doubt about your job and want to flow joyfully with the creative and unlimited forces of the universe; use all your natural resources; reclaim your power as a six-sensory, intuitively guided, creative soul; and truly succeed-then open your mind and let's begin." - From the book

Renowned psychic and six-sensory author Sonia Choquette introduces 29 strategies for activating, sharpening, and mastering intuition on the job in her book Trust Your Vibes at Work, and Let Them Work for You. Divided into three parts, Trust Your Vibes at Work shows you how to tap into body awareness, increase six-sensory sensitivity especially under pressure, organize intuitive awareness, invite opportunities, engage creativity, welcome feedback and collaboration, contribute with enthusiasm, and follow your vibes to a satisfying, prosperous professional life.

Problems with work and career are universal, with individuals often complaining of boredom, tension between co-workers and management, low pay, and general job dissatisfaction. As a professional intuitive consultant and teacher, Choquette has counseled thousands of people from all over the world, many seeking insight and resolution for job difficulties.

As with her previous book Trust Your Vibes, Choquette writes in a practical, engaging style, equipping employers, employees, and the self-employed with crucial strategies for navigating the workplace as a six-sensory person. Using personal and client anecdotes, the author demonstrates the high cost of not trusting vibes-and the amazing things that can happen when you do. She also provides handy lists to reinforce each intuitive strategy. For example, under Strategy #10 Take a Risk, Choquette gives six ways to prepare for risks as you pursue your dream job:

1. Make a plan.
2. Save money if you can.
3. Make certain that your talents match your desires.
4. Get emotionally ready by creating opportunities to take little leaps of faith.
5. Look forward with enthusiasm to your new adventure, and talk about it with excitement rather than dread.
6. Take small steps, and don't overshoot your goal.

Choquette also sums up each six-sensory strategy with a "bottom line". Here are a few additional strategies and bottom lines from Trust Your Vibes at Work:

Strategy #1 Set Your Intention. Bottom Line: Positively visualize your day before it begins.

Strategy #4 Stimulate Your Creativity. Bottom Line: Lighten up and be playful.

Strategy #15 Have the Courage to Stand Alone. Bottom Line: Stick to your gut feelings and convictions.

Strategy #19 Make No Assumptions. Bottom Line: Never assume that you know anyone completely.

Strategy #21 Work With the Right People. Bottom Line: Make sure "the shoe fits", then sleep on it.

Strategy #26 Claim Your Space. Bottom Line: Strengthen your boundaries.

Choquette stresses the importance of remembering what inspires and excites on the way to our "dream job", as well as how to make the most of any employment situation. Whether treating the workspace as sacred, asking for help, grounding our energy, forgiving others, or employing bad-vibe busters, Trust Your Vibes at Work includes the necessary tools for an empowered, joyful, creative and productive work experience.

As one who is self-employed as a free-lance writer and professional intuitive, I had wondered if Trust Your Vibes at Work would contain relevant information for me since I work from home. I was thrilled to discover that this book shares important ways for discerning, decoding, and trusting intuitive information, especially as it relates to work ethics, expectations, reading people, and personal and vocational satisfaction.

Interestingly, many of my clients also express job dissatisfaction--and I'm sure this is true for most professional intuitives. I'll be sure to recommend this enlightening book to each of them as they seek career direction and work advice!

(P.S. I consider Trust Your Vibes at Work to be one of the best books of 2005--and believe me, I encounter, read, and review many books in a year's time!)

This is an excellent book that provides easy tools to help you improve your "gut instincts." It is particularly helpful to business people making decisions as we do in the Private Equity business. When we invest capital in a business we use every bit of information we can in order to make the right investment decisions. The information available from the "sixth sense" is potentially the most valuable information we can tap.

Like the book "Trust Your Vibes" ... this is applied to the world of work. Surprise surprise ... the mind knows far less than your vibes. Many stories exist of people who picked a job that looked and sounded good even perfect but felt awful vibes-wise. The world of work is changing fast and our minds can only take us so far. Our vibes though can take us beyond the realm of intellect. Your vibes will warn you when something is off and can easily avert disaster than the rational mind may not ever see. If you recall those times in your life when something just felt wrong ... and you didn't know why ... look back and see if you eventually discovered that you were bang on in your assessments. Trust Your Vibes at Work is a companion to keep you safe and not sorry in making critical career decisions.

Like many of Choquette's other books, this also has stories of people who trusted their vibes. Sometimes the best thing to do is go on faith. It is not easy but just knowing how it worked out for others makes a difference. Go with good vibes if you want to get good results. Vibes aren't emotions, they are senses, and usually your body is a good measure. If you walk into an interview and feel off it is a signal. Test what you pick up but gut instinct that is instant has often a very high accuracy.

Choquette has mastered the art of teaching people to get out of their heads and into their hearts. She also promotes trusting our inner sensory system. Both of these are radical concepts to the heady world of intellect and factionist sentiment but when the left and right brain work in harmony ... one is often much better off.

One major theme I got from the book was to go to the warmth... and trust it will all work out no matter what. You may have to build this trust gradually but remember ... the body doesn't lie ... and the best place to work if often where you feel jazzed up. When it flows beautifully it is a signal that you are on path.

If you find yourself in a career transition consider working the steps in this book along with Now What by Laura Berman Fortgang or The Authentic Career from Maggie Craddock.

An oldie but a goodie. Everything in this book was so uplifting. Wonderful daily reminders. Lots of suggestions to improve your life. I love that scriptures are quoted. Who knew the Bible book of Job first spoke of the law of attraction! Interesting stories of healing and the mind/body connection. Must have been quite controversial back when it was first published.
Don't be put off by those who say it's religious. I am not religious at all but rather I say I'm spiritual. I will reference this book often.

A little dated in the presentation, but not the content.

I found myself a bit distracted by the lack of specific references as to who the annecdotes were about. A lot of "a certain high ranking executive in an important industry, in a major US city..." These days we expect to be told which executive in which industry and and which in which city. Maybe we have all gotten a bit more skeptical about sources in the Internet age.
But that quibble asside, I have been making a concious effort to put Dr. Peale's ideas into practice, and found them very helpful. In another 50 years the presentation will seem more dated yet, but I am sure the ideas will be no less important. I am glad I bought the book.
As as has been noted in many other reviews, this book is about living a rich, full, happy life in a Christian framework. If that's not what you are looking for, keep looking!

I was looking for a read that would inspire and propel me forward at a time when my life was somewhat less than 'light and breezy'. I learned that Norman Vincent Peale was the seed for many of the current popular self-reflection books and decided to start with "The Power of Positive Thinking". I am not disappointed in my selection of this book but it is certainly not a quick read or a page turner. I find that I must put the book down and reflect on the message which is uplifting and reassuring ... just what I needed. I have actually passed the book onto a friend for that very reason.

You will find in this edition work from the 1990's and older work by lots of international artists and American artists Alice James, Jim Wallace, Tom Joyce, John Medwedeff, Stephen Bondi, Jeffrey Funk, Albert Paley, Toby Hickman, and many, many others. The author, Dona Meilach, recently passed away. I hope any new edition of this book includes all of the technical chapters, updates in all categories of making, more work by up-and-coming artists, a sturdier binding (a bit fragile for a reference book) and an expanded color section.Ironwork Today: Inside & Out St. Claire's Organic Sweets, Organic Ginger Snaps (1.5 oz)

The first edition of this book was an instant classic. This, the second edition is a long awaited update and still a classic. A "must have" book for artists, sculptors and metalworkers. It is among a very short list of books I recommend to new artist metalworkers.

The word "inspiration" in the sub-title is an understatement. The contents of this lavishly illustrated book include works by the finest metalworkers past and present. Techniques of metalworking rarely seen are discussed and illustrated step by step. The updated version includes over 50 new color photos, updated suppliers list and Internet information sources.

The book starts with basic tools and techniques. Then discusses the basics of metallurgy and moves on to step by step demonstrations by some of the worlds most renowned metalworkers such as Albert Paley, Daryl Meier and Christopher Ray among others. Each section is illustrated with examples produced using the techniques discussed. There is also a "Gallery of Details" taken from the work of the late Samuel Yellin.

A truely great book that should have never gone out of print.

Excellent example of high-end decorative iron and plenty of how-to's

I saw a recommendation for this book [..] and it sounded like just what I was looking for. My background in decorative iron has been limited to a cut-off saw, wire-feed welder, torch and grinder using cast decorations like finials and rosettes. This book was well worth the money and I not only learned a lot about methods that were shrouded in mystery to me, but also I got lots of great ideas about potential products I could make.

This book starts with an introduction to metal working and the retro movement for blacksmithing. It talks about all the common equipment you'd find in a blacksmith shop and what each piece does. Then it goes into different steels and the useful temperature ranges to work metals. It proceeds with how to make common bends and twists, animal heads and all sorts of other techniques. There is even a section on Damascus metal and how to make it.

The pictures in the book are fantastic and really help drive home some of the howt-to's sections as well as illustrate some very ornate artwork. There are many photographs both in color and black & white.

The only complaint I can think of is that even though it's a revision, some parts seem a bit dated. I would have liked to seen a comparison to help me choose between a gas and coal furnace for instance. But I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in decorative iron from the admirer to experienced builder.

If you belive in somthing more in life than what you might think, the Kryon series is for you. I was so impressed in the consistency and energy in this book series that I scheduled with the author for a "at home" personal appearance. Kryon provides hope and energy for all.

I've read all the Kryon books. When I read my first Kryon book it seemed a little strange. I mean channelling? Could it really be? But once I got used to the idea, I couldn't stop reading. I read the whole series (There are 8 of them). I've read many of them over again. They change me each time I read them, maybe because they are truely channelled from the other side. I find them reassuring, comforting and mind expanding...

I have read four of the Kryon books and I have mixed feelings about the material. I am pretty open to things, I read a variety of books, attend a lot of seminars and work with intuitive and psychic channelers. When I started reading the first book I thought this was pretty interesting stuff. Then as I read more I started to pick up on an underlying theme that just didn't sit right with me. I talked to a couple of established channelers who said there was something a little off and that they didn't recommend going deeper into the work. The fact is, just because something is channeled does not mean it's perfectly right and coming from the best place possible. You can read it if you want of course, just pay attention to your feelings about it.

Too often in our current culture we are placed into cookie-cutter categories. This book beautifully explains that each of us have an essence of uniqueness to be honored and appreciated. We can stop beating ourselves up when we fall short of conformity to status-quo. Lovely and refreshing, this book is wonderful!

incredibly enlightening!!

Wow! This book was perfect for me. I've always had so many questions about life. How it was before and what to expect in the future. This book answers many questions and left me hungrier than ever before in search of more information. It was an exciting read and gave me much comfort in knowing that we are truly not alone. I cannot wait to read all the other kryon books, this was my first.

I loved this book! It gets you wanting to drop the book and make some projects. I work in metal clay and I was really inspired by some of the techniques, as well as adding polymer clay to my own work.

this book intends to inspire you to think outside of the box and that's what it does!!
I love it; the pictures are great, the instructions are good, and most of all it shows a variety of techniques, both common and unusual ones.
I use only this book to make bracelets, there are some fabulous examples in it

As long-time polymer clay enthusiast, I was very excited about this book, and it lived up to expectations! The project information is very complete, with easy to follow instructions and photos, and the examples are inspiring. It may be a little difficult for someone who has never worked in polymer before, but I think the projects would be suitable for someone who has a basic knowledge, as well as more advanced artists. I have never been disappointed in a Lark Publishing book and they came through again!

I am new to polymer clay and have bought several books. This is the best. If I had to buy just one book, this would be it. Wonderful instructions and fabulous creations. This book shows just how far you can go with polymer clay, from fun to dramatic. I highly recommend this book.

A fantastic book!

I have never written a review before but after reading The Art of Jewelry I had to jump online and tell the world just how wonderful it was to have a book that was not to basic and not to advanced. If you have been playing with clay for a year or more this book will help you elevate you work. If you are brand new to polymer clay you might want to start with "The New Clay" by Nan Roche.

A look at the cross

This book is a collection of writings from the Roman Catholics Francois Fenelon, Michael Molinos, and Madame Guyon. It's good, deep stuff dealing on the topics of the cross and prayer. The writings are not broken into a "daily devotional" format as the title may lead one to believe, but the book can be read in such a way since it is broken down into "small bits."

The book has three sections: Way of the Cross, Drawing Inward, and Stepping Into His Presence. Within each section, each "author" is given about ten small chapters (usually no more than a couple pages).

Most of Guyon's writings come from the SeedSower's book edited by Edwards called, Experiencing The Depths of Jesus Chrsit Through Prayer, so buying this book will offer nothing new from Guyon if you already have the other book. I'm guessing that the writings from Molinos comes from his, The Spiritual Guide.

There is very little scripture in this book, but what is taught is very, very good (of course, not everyone may agree with what is written). The chapters deal with the cross, suffering, real prayer, inward prayer, silence, meditation on scripture, listening to God, knowing God, love, and beholding the Lord, among others.

The book also includes short biographies of the three authors.
