Foundational reading for spiritual growth

Many reviews have covered this more in depth than I will here. Reinventing the wheel is not my objective. As a spiritual worker, counselor, and teacher, I have to say that the Ra materials (and this means all 4 books of transcription) are basic. They create an understanding of who and what we are and where we are going. Understanding our place with respect to service to other-selves or service to self is the start of wisdom. Further, while some argue that service to self is indeed service to the whole, these writings give clear understanding of why you may wish to follow a service to other-selves path in preference to service to self. If your heart presses you to spiritual growth, start here.

This is it!

I discovered this material in the early '80s about the time it was released. I was blown away then and still am. I'll never forget the feeling - something similar to having uncovered a profound and precious secret. I remain convinced that other than ACIM, this may be the ONLY channeled material out there that is what it purports to be. Much more recently, I've begun kinesiologically calibrating books, people, spiritual teachers, institutions with the method taught by Dr. David Hawkins. The Law of One books collectively calibrate (or they did with my calibration) at over 800, in fact somewhere in the neighborhood of 850 if I remember correctly. Astounding, considering that Hawkins states that less than 5% of channeled material calibrates over 455.That's about all I can say. Uh...Adonai.

This book contains very interesting information inside which I'm not sure if they are true or false.. But, it is so detailed and realistic that I want to believe it and after I read the book, I realized that it may be like the book says.. Ra Materials answer all the unknown about cosmology, from where men came, what will happen etc... Even if the book is full of false information, it is worth reading because of it's interesting theme..

Profound

The Ra material is the transcription of the taped communications between researcher Don and the entity RA, a being that is talking through Carla, often referred to as the "instrument" throughout the book (s), in a state of deep trance. The transcriptions are carried out by Jim and the three are always present during all sessions, creating a triangulation of light that allows for RA, a sixth dimensional being, that calles itself a "socialmemory complex", to come through and speak.

RA has choosen this group because of the purity of their intent and makes himself available to them for questions about the Universe, the Creator, the dimensions, Karma, the law of One and any other material that might aid people in understanding universal truths that might be helpful for mankinds evolution.

The materail is very esoteric and requires some concentration. However, it is well worth the effort, as it is enlightening, very precise, accurate and informative. The explanations around the shift in dimensions we are about to undergo on the planet, that Ra defines as the harvest, are devoid of hype and sensation. Harvest is a process that all beings and planetary bodies eventually encur, following physical/spiritual law just as eclipses do or the seasons. The science of the harvest ( ascension) is explained in depth here as is the chakra system and it's role in Soul evolution.

Also extremely interesting the explanation of the polarization of entities into Service to Self orintated entities and Service to Others orientated entities and the implications these have in the ascension process and the roles they play within the bigger picture.

A really deep read and well worth the effort. I have read all four volumes and I am about to tackle vol 5. I thoroughly recommend it.

This will ROCK YOUR SOCKS OFF!

There is a lot of channeled material out there, some good and some not so good. I think it is important to use discernment when reading channeled material, just as it is important to use discernment when reading anything, or when listening to a preacher talk.

Ultimately, the truth is inside of us, but we don't know it. So it helps to have it confirmed by `outside' sources. Sometimes we come across something that has that ring of truth in it, and we know it is appropriate for us in this point of time in out lives. Not necessarily appropriate for everyone at all times, or even for ourselves at all times, but appropriate in the now, for where we are at right now.

Thus, I have encountered many books and other sources of info that have all had varying degrees of what I consider `truth', but no one of them being THE TRUTH. (I have long ago dismissed the bible as THE truth, but consider it to have SOME truth in it, while most of it has been distorted.)

The Law of One books are the closest I have found to being THE truth. Many of the channeled works out there are cheesy, or they come across too `authoritative' ie `...in such-and-such year this WILL happen...', `...that IS the way it IS...', etc.

Ra, on the other hand, does not claim to be an authority. Rather, this entity repeatedly tells us to please use discernment and accept only that which resonates as truth within ourselves. Then proceeds to give info that totally rocks your socks off!

This stuff is deep, very deep. I have never read anything else, channeled or not, that even comes close to such high caliber! It is just completely obvious to me that the info really is coming from a higher being, cuz no way anyone could have made all this up!

OK, maybe someone could have. But this info came thru a woman in a trance, and she did not even know what she was saying until she woke up. Even very specific details are consistent throughout the text, over the course of several years of channeling.

AND, the material describes a cosmology that was ahead of its time. Certain aspects of quantum physics, for example, described in the books had not yet been discovered. So no, no one could have made this up!

When you read the material, you get a very strong sense of HIGHER KNOWLEDGE. It's just really obvious that this is NOT coming from a human source, the way most other channeled material seems to be. I had a lot of 'Aha' moments while reading it...in fact, pretty much every sentence!

But, my purpose is NOT to try to convince you. B4 the skeptics start, let me say that I am NOT trying to prove that this channeled work is authentic - if you are searching for absolute proof, then clearly this book (or any channeled work) is not for you. Better to stay in an organized religion and do as they tell you.

However, if you are a serious seeker who is not afraid to think for yourself, then I highly recommend you give these books a try. Prepare to have your mind opened!

If you're still with me, then maybe you'd like to know what the books are about. OK, for starters: the nature of life, the universe, how the pyramids were built, who the aliens are, the chakras, other dimensions, the important elements of a spiritual path, the nature of sexuality, etc. and lots of other interesting topics. But that is not what makes these books stand out - other books have tried to address these topics as well.

What makes the Law of One stand out is the explanation of `Good' vs `Evil'.

If you find the idea of a `good God' being in a constant war with the `evil Satan' oversimplistic, or if you believe that God is all-powerful and beyond good and evil, or if you have a hard time believing that God will `lose' most of the world's population to the `devil', and you are searching for a more intelligent explanation of why there is evil in the world, then these books might be for you.

Or, if you are tired of all the `doom and gloom' prophecies and would like to rekindle hope, then these books might be for you.

Be forewarned: these books are NOT light and fluffy. And whatever you believe, they will challenge you. But they will also inspire you, and give comfort.

Whether your are an entrepreneur, VC or lawyer, THIS is the book that you must read. It's really everything that you need to navigate the entire startup ecosystem. I've been in the industry for over a decade and I still use it as a reference and encourage both entrepreneurs and lawyers to read alike. I also think it's a great resource for VCs sitting on boards to make sure they are complying with all the latest and greatest regulations.

Includes all important areas of law for the entrepreneur. Was most helpful for our incorporation. Good, short, to-the-point, comparisons of S-corp, C-corp, LLC, partnership, and sole proprietorship. Still covered all issues and is updated to late 2007. This is important because the tax-code changes frequently (last major update was in 2003), and small changes to corporate structure and court pratices happen every year. Better than "Structuring Venture Capital, Private Equity, and Entrepreneurial Transactions." Better than "Starting Your Own Business" by Stephen C. Harper. Better than searching for piecemeal information on websites like news.YCombinator.

Other important areas covered are Contracts & Lease, Operational Liability, and Intellectual Property. I will be using this book heavily for those areas as well.

This book goes into great detail about all aspects of Business Law. Anyone who currently owns a business or is thinking about opening a business needs to read this book, or at least have it near by as a reference guide.

However, the book is certainly aimed at Corporate USA and those who are looking to start up a BIG business. If you are looking to open or currently own a Small Business, then there are better books on the market that are tailored more to your needs.

This book deserves to be on the shelf of every entrepreneur. The Entrepreneur's Guide to Business Law will take you on a virtual tour of the start-up process, and beyond, from the legal perspective. As experienced entrepreneurs understand, any business is a web of relationships, many of which are detailed in legal documents. This is the case for the relationship (establishment) of the entity with the state, relationships between co-founders, relationships between employees and the company, relationship between the company and its investors, suppliers, customers, etc. The legal foundation for all of these is clearly explained, and this book includes a wealth of practical information that will help any entrepreneur to work more efficiently and effectively with their legal counsel.

Being a small business owner, this book draw my attention from tons of others sitting on the bookstore shelf and I was not disappointed - well structured and easy to read wealth of information that helps you navigate through complexities of IRS official publications. Add to that a bit of humor scattered throughout the book and reading about taxes and accounting turns out to be a pleasure ! Would certainly give it triple BUY rating

I walked into my local library one day looking for something easy-to-read concerning taxes. Mr. Daily's book title quickly captured my attention. I not only couldn't put the book down, I later checked it out of the library that day and read the first two chapters that night.

A week later after reading two additional chapters, I bought the book online. "It was that good." Simple as that! It made tax law come alive to me and I was able to understand taxes much more clearly.

Tax Attorney Frederick W. Daily's book, "Tax Savvy for Small Business," in my professional opinion, would be considered 'required reading' for anyone who prepares returns or represents taxpayers before the IRS, as I soon will be doing as an Enrolled Agent (EA). CPAs and lawyers are licensed by the individuals states. EAs on the other hand, are nationally licensed.

"This book IS... my study guide and bible" (if you will) in addition to... my study materials in preparation for the Enrolled Agent (EA) exam.

Great book and an essential read for anyone starting and running a business. Essential advice as well as useful guides for communicating with the IRS. Examples I've used include changing my S corp election to a C corp and also the process to apply for a first time abatement of penalties. This book has helped reduce my tax related anxieties to a tolerable level. Tax attorney Frederick W. Daily has consolidated a wealth of information into a easy to read and extremely useful 300+ page reference. This will be one of my core texts when I teach a course on "How to Start and Run a Company" at the local community college. I've waited for nearly two decades to start a company because the tax code always overwhelmed me (and I had studied accounting for two years in college before becoming an engineer). If I had read this book earlier I would not have been nearly so apprehensive.

Mr. Daily's treatment of taxation as it relates to a small business owner is top knotch. Not only is it a thorough reference book but his style of writing makes it a pleasure to read (many authors of text books could benefit from his approach).

Particularly I found the examples helpful and "real world" enough to drive home the point.

I like emanuel outlines, but have a slight problem with this one. Amazon lists it as being published in 2007, but the copy I received clearly indicates 2004. This means my class is using the 7th edition of Yeazell while this outline corresponds to the 6th edition. I'm not too sure what this means yet, since I haven't had the time to check everything out.

There are many statements that people have found offending in this book such as Therapist means THE RAPIST, or 'There are no poor people in America'. My assumption is that these are statements that Bishop Jordan has made by looking at life from a certain perspective and his statements have possibly been over generalised and taken out of context. I myself am a therapist. Not all therapist's are shrinks which is the meaning that Bishop Jordan is probably using to derive his conclusion that all therapists are rapists. Some Therapists such as Occupational, Speech and Physiotherapist's actually tell you like Jesus - to pick up your mat and walk. However, don't let these statements put you off. The Laws of thinking, i beleive, are not necessarily secrets, but they are principles that one may have learnt along the road of life but somehow you have not been practising them or somehow you forgot what you learnt because of the storms of life. Or, rightly so, for some, you may never have heard these principles at all.

Whether you have heard them before or not, Bishop Jordan comes to remind us or teach us by kicking us in the rear - forcing us into action. All of Bishop Jordan's principles are principles that Jesus Christ himself taught. Jesus Christ summed up all his teachings by telling us that we need to Love God with all that we are, love our neighbour like ourselves and be a servant to all. But he also explained that of ourselves, achieving this is humanly impossible - but with God, all things are possible. Therefore, if we desire lasting prosperity that Bishop Jordan has expertly talked about, we must be in God. Bishop Jordan tries to explain this in the Law of Becoming, which is the first law in the book. I beleive that this first law gives birth to the following 19 laws. The ultimate is being in God - being born again and then what follows is the renewing of your mind.

Confessing that Jesus Christ is Lord, beleiving that God raised him from the dead, fellowshipping with God and studying His word is characteristic of being in God. Being in God leads to true wisdom, prosperity and renewal of your mind.

Bishop Jordan lays out what the Lord has already taught in 20 unique laws. No book is a substitute for the word of God (the bible), however, Bishop Jordan's book is a good reminder to us that we need to renew the way we think - the only way we do that is by the word of God.

Brilliant and Powerful - A Must Read

Bishop E. Bernard Jordan's book brings three words immediately to mind: BRILLIANT, POWERFUL, AND INSPIRING. This wonderful book is all three of those things and I should actually add, eye opening and insightful, to that list of adjectives. This book is a MUST READ for anyone wanting to manifest prosperity into his or her life. I can't urge you enough to read this book AND to seek out other books/videos by Bishop E. Bernard Jordan. His teachings are influencing huge corporations and world leaders and after you read this book I'm sure you will understand why. Stop wasting time reading the reviews and get the book. Your return on investment from absorbing the principles in this book will pay for itself many, many times over! In "The Laws of Thinking" Bishop Jordan teaches 20 secrets to manifest prosperity in your life. If you're a Christian the book will renew your spirit and bring you closer to God as well. If you're not a Christian then this book will give you some valuable deeper insights and may open your eyes to some important things that you hadn't considered or experienced before. Really, it doesn't cost much and what you will surely gain from absorbing the principles taught in "The Laws of Thinking" make it an easy choice - GET THE BOOK AND READ IT TWICE!

My thinking process has changed, and I am now creating my own reality from a conscious state of mind. I am now self-employed because I have learned how to used these principles, and I am applying them to my life. Thank you Master Prophet E. I felt the book was easy to read. Not one to be read in one sitting, however. I have done extensive estate planning, will preparation, and will updates. However, this book presented some options that I am considering. It also showed me a couple of loopholes that I thought I had closed, that I probably don't. Well worth the money and time to read. Only estate book I've seen written in an easy-to-read, mini-case-study format. Very practical and thought-provoking advice. Tends to focus on little worst-case scenarios in an attempt to get people to plan properly for all the things that can go wrong in an estate.

For what it's worth, I thought the book was generally best-suited for estates with $100,000 to about $2,000,000 in assets. Don't get me wrong, there's something in here for all estate sizes - especially for people just starting the process of developing a plan. However, don't buy this book looking for technical discussions of advanced tax-minimizing strategies. If you or your clients have estates over this $2MM mark, this book can be a great thought-provoker, but some of the advice isn't really suitable for larger estates.

I purchased "The Lawyer's Career Change Handbook" along with other books written for people who have (or will soon have) law degrees, but are not sure they want to practice law. This book has been an invaluable tool in helping me realize where I want to go with my life. What I like most about it is that it includes exercises to make its readers think critically about their own skills, interests, and requirements in the workplace. I find that the book is very practical, and although I am just begining my job search, it has been helpful as a tool to prioritize what I'm looking for in an employer.

When considering whether to purchase this book, I read some highly critical reviews, but bought the book anyway. If you are serious about looking for a job which is more suited to you, I would encourage you to buy it too - and read it with a pencil and pad of paper close at hand.

For those of you who, like me, are very frustrated with law - whether you are already practicing or not, I want to share this passage, which summed up everything I feel about my experiences in the field of law. On page 12, Hindi Greenberg writes:

"One of my clients recently wrote a stinging evaluation of law practice, listing the things he dislikes. In his words: 'I disilke (1) the interpersonal nastiness of litigation, (2) the combatitiveness of litigation, (3) the win-at-all-cost attitude of litigation, (4) the crisis mentality of litigation, (5) that my goal is to defeat my opponent and my opponent's goal is to defeat me, (6) the pressure of being expected to do work that my oponent can never criticize - an absolutely unrealistic expectation, (7) that I am always around people who are angry at someone, (8) that I cannot be fair or reasonable, as I see fairness and reason, but have to fight for every advantage I can get out of a situation, (9) that I cannot spend my life working with a group of dedicated people to achieve a common goal but instead must constantly fight other people to achieve success.'"

Particularly with respect to number 7, this has been my experience over two summers of clerking for law firms.

The afternoon before I began reading this book, I went out for coffee with a fellow law student. I tried to explain to her all of the reasons that I am uninterested in a career as a lawyer - but no matter what I said, she was adamant that I will be able to find a fulfilling legal career, telling me, "not all law firms are like the ones you have worked for. There are plenty of areas of law where you never have to fight at all. There are better lawyers to work for. There are better areas of law to practice in." This book made me realize that I'm not being subborn or overly emotional, or closed-minded about career options. I am grateful to Hindi Greenberg for showing me that I am not alone, and that, frankly, there is nothing wrong with me for not wanting to spend the next 30 or 40 years of my life fighting for a living, or trying to do perfect work which can never be criticized.

In addition to giving me much-needed affirmation that I am not being an idiot, because being a lawyer is not for everyone, this book provides many practical tools for developing a job search, and for finding a career which suits my personality.

Another great resource in this book is the resume writing guide. As a first year law student, Career Services held a (mandatory) resume-writing workshop, teaching us how to make legal resumes - which are vastly different from non-legal resumes. On the brink of looking for a non-legal job, I found myself perplexed as to what a non-legal resume was supposed to look like. This book has examples of functional resumes versus legal resumes, as well as interviewing tips which I found to be infinetly more helpful than the tips provided by Career Services over the past few years.

I was very happy with this book, and would highly recommend it to anyone who is unhappy with his or her legal career, and definetly to law students who find themselves wondering whether there might be more worthwhile careers out there.

This is a book like the dozens of other career change ones out there - you can find this information in publications from years ago, and with much better advice. No new information, and would only help lawyers who would lack the imagination to think of "legal publishing" or "in-house counsel" as career options. Truly unhelpul.

Excellent Book for assessing a Career as a Lawyer

I practiced law for 32 years and disliked it greatly much of the time. I would estimate that 90% of the lawyers that I know dislike the practice of law. I hated law school and only finished it because everyone told me that I didn't have to be a lawyer, that a law degree was very helpful in getting other jobs. The subtitle of this book would lead one to believe that the book will provide information about those jobs. In that sense the book is misleading.

There really aren't many jobs where a law degree, as such, is helpful. The author mostly lists every job that lawyers have ever taken outside of the law and obvious jobs in law related fields.

However, this book is a must read for anyone considering law school or who is greatly dissatisfied with the practice of the law. It has excellent assessment tools and practical advice as to what to look for to find greater satisfaction in one's career, whatever it might be. Many lawyers, myself included, went to law school because we didn't know what else to do and thought a law degree would be useful. With Law School costs being what they are that is NOT a good enough reason. The book explains the almost universal concerns that lawyers have with the practice of law, and also emphasizes that for the average practitioner the practice of law does NOT make them wealthy. So, if making money is one's sole motivation, other fields provide greater opportunities to do so.

When I picked up this book I knew that I had always had an interest in law, but was unsure if I wanted to work for a law firm. Before going to law school I wanted an idea of exactly what my options might be after school.

This book helped me a lot. I have not made a final decision, but I am definitely closer than when I picked up the book. The two most helpful sections to me were the assessment exercises that helped me think about what skills I have and the last 2 sections on actual jobs available.

If you just want someone to tell you what job is right for you then don't choose this book. If you want/need to think about yourself, your life, your skills, and what you want your job and your life to be then this book is a tool that will help you on your journey.

I kept getting emails about funny anecdotes about things that happened in court attributed to "disorder in the court". This can't be the same book. There was nothing funny in it.

My husband is eighty-seven and faced with many physical problems... AND depression. A friend sent an e-mail containing excerpts from this book. Laurits laughed like he hadn't in months, so I located this book and bought it for him. He's read it over and over.
A great book for a person who's down in the dumps... or your favorite lawyer! It makes a nice little gift for ANYONE!

Goofy Things Said in Court

The book is a collection of things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down by court reporters. It must be tough to record some of these exchanges without laughing out loud. Fun reading for anyone, but if you have a friend who's a lawyer or a judge, it might be the perfect gift for them.

Here are some samples from the book:

ATTORNEY: What is your date of birth?
WITNESS: July 18th.
ATTORNEY: What year?
WITNESS: Every year.
_____________________________________

ATTORNEY: How old is your son, the one living with you?
WITNESS: Thirty-eight or thirty-five, I can't remember which.
ATTORNEY: How long has he lived with you?
WITNESS: Forty-five years.

ATTORNEY: What was the first thing your husband
said to you that morning?
WITNESS: He said, "Where am I, Cathy?"
ATTORNEY: And why did that upset you?
WITNESS: My name is Susan.
______________________________________
ATTORNEY: Now doctor, isn't it true that when a
person dies in his sleep, he doesn't know about it until the next morning?
WITNESS: Did you actually pass the bar exam?
____________________________________
ATTORNEY: The youngest son, the twenty-one-year-old, how old is he?
WITNESS: Uh, he's twenty-one

ATTORNEY: Were you present when your picture was taken?

Freedom? You Want Some of This..

Read this book(!) if you care about the freedoms we enjoy in America or wonder about the limits that have been placed on them. It is history.., but the book reads like a set of short stories. It is enlightening, insightful, surprising, engaging, and down right scary in parts (the whos and whys of many court decisions) . Whether your interests are in freedoms related to speech, the press, or privacy, or all of the above; this is your primer.

In this brief history of the First Amendment one sees the array of interests that have so decisively shaped the interpretation of the First Amendment. Racism, religion, history, and politics are just a few of the more obvious forces that have shaped and reshaped the laws governing our freedoms. Less obvious forces that Lewis highlights are just as intriguing. Experiencing, through Lewis' non academic writing style, the chronology of events and court decisions, from Dred Scott to Guantanamo related (habeas corpus) decisions, this is a great read.

The fact that a book like this is even being written for the layman is very encouraging. It demonstrates that there is an emerging interest in what our freedoms are, how they evolved to this point, and by extension, how they can continually be refined to satisfy our ever changing needs as a "liberal democracy".

If you know the "enemies" of the First Amendment, you will be better prepared to fight them. If you know the effects of excesses in freedoms, you will be more likely to avoid them. Lewis gives you both, along with his humble thoughts on the major issues addressed in his book.

The "Right" that we all take for granted!

Thank you Mr. Lewis for taking the time to write this book. I cannot stop talking to friends, colleagues, and strangers about how it has brought to my attention just how recent our "freedom of speech" really is. Although our founding fathers might have written the text over 200 years ago, men and women were still being jailed under the libel laws and Sedition Acts. Current and future reporters please read this book and use it as a reminder of the importance of your role in our democracy, by keeping our leaders honest with your thorough research and candid accounts. Every American should read this book!

Unless a person goes to law school, it is unlikely that he or she will learn the 200 year old history of the First Amendment...yet is is a fascinating and necessary history to learn. The thesis of the book is that our common notion of what "freedom of speech and press" means in America is not self evident law. In fact, the author explains, our right to criticise the government and its leaders was developed and protected by "activist judges."

Think about the role of activist judges - many of whom are criticised today in certain political circles. Anthony Lewis reminds us that American activist judges used the language that all persons are born free and equal to issue rulings that slavery was against the law as early as 1783. 150 years later it was again activist judges and lawyers who struck down the Espionage Act of World War I which punished speech against the war. So it was only in the twentieth century that the First Amendment was used to protect free speech and condemn a statute that infringed this liberty.

Author Anthony Lewis takes us on a historical journey through First Amendment cases from its beginnings in the constitutional convention to its interpretation by the Jeffersonians and the Federalists to Woodrow Wilson's oppressive statutes, and finally to the more recent cases of flag desecration and the Patriot Act. Mr. Lewis is clear headed and forceful in his history and arguments. As I see it, this volume is one of the top 10 books on the law that I have ever read. I suggest it as a gift to your sons and daughters, to your high school or college students who care about what America means. Highly recommended.

Great perspective: Understanding how tenuous the right can be makes us more likely to protect it

One of my favorite things about reading history is getting a perspective on how new some ideas are even when they feel like they've been around forever. This book absolutely has that effect... and it's a really healthy thing.

Lewis does a nice job of laying out the history of free speech. He starts before the founding of the United States, but spends most of his time exploring the development of the right since the United States founding. What you see is how, even in two short centuries, the understanding of freedom of speech has evolved into what we take for granted today.

Starting with the Alien and Sedition Acts during John Adams presidency and working his way forward, you really come to understand that the freedom of speech we enjoy today is far in excess of what citizens of the very same country enjoyed 200, 100, or even 50 years back. It's truly fascinating to get that perspective and it helps you to understand that rights can go as easily as they can come if they aren't defended vigilantly and vigorously.

Highly recommended for fans of history or for anyone who wants to understand a little more about where one of America's fundamental rights came from. Lewis has written a clear, concise history of an idea and a right.

Concise and to the point, 21 Distinctions of Wealth delivers a resounding message of prosperity. Peggy McColl does a superb job of cutting to the chase when conveying her missive on how to achieve goals and how to weave them through our lives on a daily basis.
My favorite distinction is number 14. "Your Abundance Will Show Up For You In Exact Proportion To Your Belief About It." Wow! How strong do you want that belief to be?
Rather makes me want to forget about all the other little peeves that lie around in my head from time to time, weakening the power of my claw to grab at that belief.
That sentence keeps me smiling, I can tell you. Thinking about it reminds me of another little phrase I've always liked, one I've heard since childhood. Remember this, "the sky's the limit." Actually, when I read the explanation of distinction 14, the little ditty finally came home. After all these years, I finally understand its meaning.
"Your Desire to Help Another Become Abundant Creates More Abundance for You." Again, how much does that make you want to go out there and help everyone you can? What kind of world would we have if we did? Probably a world filled with riches and kindness, one where there would be no war, no pettiness, no lack of any kind.
Think it's too simplistic? I think the word you're looking for is simple. Living with ease and friendship is usually much simpler than we allow it to be. Respect of ourselves and others around us is not rocket science; it's more in line with heart science.
For me, the book's appeal lies in the author's genuine concern to help that leaps off every page, that and her keen sense of people.
I know, I'm a fiction writer Beauty Enslaved and throughout the years of building believable, lifelike characters, I've done my share of studying my fellow human being, ourselves usually being the hardest characters to study sometimes relating to the fact that we don't want to see past our reflection in the mirror.
When you read through,21 Distinctions of Wealth: Attract the Abundance You Deserve, you'll have the distinct impression that Peggy has an innate knowledge of what she preaches that she does these same affirmations on a daily basis and that she's letting us in on her deep, successful secrets.
