"The Light Shall Set You Free" is a significant link in the chain of data that refers to coping with these difficult, possibly end, times. The ultimate theme is that Fear is the factor that prevents man from connecting with their God, staying close with their faith and, that earth has been sent many spiritual leaders, such as Jesus, intended to guide us to make correct choices/decisions for our salvation.
I would compare this to "The Secret" that many friends, colleagues and family members first suggested, then complained that, "It didn't work." The Light...is exactly that, more light on a topic of high interest, and if you want answers to your remaining questions and obtain more guidance then consider the comments I received from others that read The Light..., "This does work."

This book does not exist in your local bookstore, so I have probably purchased 5 copies online to share with everyone I know.

If you are seeking a higher purpose, the answer to life, and the future of humanity, this book is a must read.

I have been unconsciously been lead to this book. Saw an excerpt on the internet, purchased a copy on a whim and it has literally transformed my life. I am forever grateful to the authors for creating such a profound piece of literature.

Purchased this book for instruction in entry level Transportation Course, to which it seems basically well suited. The book however suffers from chronic poor editing of the charts and graphs, poor layout of some charts, such as the motor carrier unit cost chart, and the chart detailing the quantities of foodstuffs consumed in New York. I would let this go if it occurs once, but lack of quality control in these areas comes through more than that. A good entry level text with good scope. I will have to fill in the gaps to assure understanding.

This book is not one to disappoint. In fact I am a slow reader and I was able to read this book all the way through on a five hour flight! Muchamore's best writing characteristic is his characters they are deep and REAL which makes this book and all his others excellent beyond comparison. In fact I ordered some of his other books from England because they were not available in US.

The Dealer
By: Robert Muchamore

The book I read was The Dealer by Robert Muchamore. In this report I will be telling you all about the book. I will tell you things about the main characters to the plot, the setting and my opinion on the book. Well I know you can't wait to read this let's get started.
"Good Guys": The main character in this book is James Adams. He was also the main character in the first book in this series. James is a 13 year old boy who works for a secret part of the British Military called Cherub. Kyle Blueman is one of James best friends at Cherub. Kyle met James at an orphanage while recruiting for Cherub. Kerry Chang is also one of James best friends at Cherub and he has a little crush on her. James and Kerry went through basic training together (basic training is a 100 day training period where agents prove they are worthy to be in Cherub). Nicole Eddison is another Cherub agent, one of James and Kerry's friends. James little sister Lauren, is also at Cherub, but she hasn't passed basic training yet.
"Bad Guys": The main bad guy is Keith Moore. He is a drug dealer and head of Keith Moore's Gang. Keith Moore Jr. (aka junior) is one Keith Moore's son (more about him later). April Moore is one of Keith Moore's daughter. Ringo Moore is Keith's other son and Erin is his other daughter. Dinesh is the son of Keith Moore's business partner, who helps bag cocaine for Keith Moore.
The story is about how four kids (James, Kerry, Kyle and Nicole) help bust the drug dealer Keith Moore. The kids assignments on the mission are to befriend the Moore children. James has to befriend Junior, Kerry and Erin, Nicole and April and Kyle is supposed to befriend Ringo. This is a dangerous job. James becomes a drug deliverer for Keith and so does Kerry. Nicole gets a thing going with Junior and James pretends to like April. James, April, Nicole and Junior all are friends and they go over to the Moore house a lot. Kerry finds out about Dineshe's Dad and Kerry James and his sister Laurens investigate the warehouse and found where Keith gets his cocaine bagged. James and Kerry get their cocaine stolen on a test run and they fight to get it back. After they do, Keith is very proud of them and tells them that Kerry can work with James on deliveries. After a party Nicole and Junior use cocaine and Nicole has to go to the hospital. Junior invite's James to go to Miami with him and his dad, Keith. On one of there last nights in Miami there house gets ambushed and James kill's a man in self defense. Then James runs away and meets up with the DEA official who has been helping him. They end up getting Keith Moore in prison for 15-20 years.
This story's setting takes place in a couple of places in London and in Miami, Florida.
The theme of this novel is about kids our age that work for MI5 and they help put a drug leader into prison.
I absolutely loved this story. I have read this book around 8 or 9 times. I can't stop reading it. The author makes it very addicting. The story is so good and exciting you never want to put this book down. I love how the author doesn't make it too unbelievable, yet he doesn't make it boring either. I also like the topic. Now there is a major problem with drugs and it makes sense to write a story about it. Robert Muchamore did a great job writing this book from a kid's perspective. It seems like a 12 or 13 year old kid is telling you this story. I highly recommend any 5th or 6th grade student, or older to pick up this book. Actually they should read the first book in the series (I could go on and on about it also).

I purchased the Willmaker Plus CD. The accompanying manual looked a bit thin so I ordered Estate Planning for Dummies to read before getting down to the Willmaker manual and program. Frankly, it was a waste of time and money, as the Willmaker manual and the on-screen help was more concise and better written. I've been happy with several Dummies books, but this isn't one of them.

Are we that dumb?

I thought the tone of this book was really patronizing (okay yeah I know it's for 'dummies' but does it need to keep reminding you of that fact constantly?). It's repetitive and ultimately tells you to consult an estate planner anyway--so forget using it to save money to plan your own estate. For a much more directly useful guide to estate planning (with forms you can fill out on a cd-rom), I highly recommend Quicken's Willmaker Plus. You get all the same information as in this book, plus more, and in a much less annoying style. And since it includes the forms for the key documents you need to prepare (e.g., simple will, durable power of attorney, etc.), you may be able to plan your own estate yourself (dummy or not).

They weren't kidding when they said "for dummies"

I didn't find this book helpful at all. It just barely skims the surface, and usually concludes with "make sure you talk to your accountant/attorney/estate planner." If I intended to talk to all those folks, I wouldn't waste my time reading this book in the first place. Most of what this book covers could be learned by snooping around the web - and in many cases you can learn more that way. It defines the terminology, but even that is often inadequate. I suggest you check this book out from the local library, and then if you find it to be a useful resource go ahead and buy it. I wish I had done that - I don't feel this book has enough information to really qualify as a reference book.

Its okay but I wanted more-specific information

This book gives you general information about Estate Planning but It left me wanting more. I was surprise that it didnt mention anything about AB trust. I wish it would have given the upside and donwnside to each options of wills or trust.

I would have settled for a checklist what to ask your lawyer or accountant considering that he kept harping of always ask your lawyer. Although I see the lawyer point, if I was meeting with a lawyer I would have not wasted 20 dollars and change to read the book.
Many who read books like Dummies want to avoid paying thousands of dollars to a lawyer or as I mention , and if you want me to ask my lawyer at least give me very specific checklist of questions.

If you could, buy it at a discount or borrow it from the library. I probably sell mine on Ebay.

You would be a dummie to buy this book.

Open this book and you will see that it is formatted and reads like every other textbook you have read since college. The writing makes no attempt to reduce the complexities of the subject. It simply reiterates all the language you never understood in the first place. As the author of "Everything A Baby Boomer Should Know -- An Insider's Guide to Estate Planning," I suggest you compare my book which honestly and easily explains the tools of the probate system, to this book which is impossible to understand if you have no background on the subject.

This is a excellent text from a renowned author. He explains the subject in a complete and methodological fashion that helps to make the concepts clear. He also doesn't shy away from including contradictory and historical information where appropriate, and the extensive case citation helps to demonstrate the concepts.

This particular study guide is marginally helpful. I personally was in a situation where my professor wrote our contracts text, and he recommended Farnsworth. The text is decent as far as understanding and set-up, but in my opinion, there are better study guides out there. The contracts edition of the examples and explanations series is one of them.

This is a really great COntracts Hornbook - Farnsworth lays out headnotes/topic sentences in the margins which narrate the particular paragraph/sub-issue you are reading - which assists one in building their outline - IE use the headnotes as one-line topic summary. HOWEVER< I ratd this a "4" because Farnsworth has dropped several of the older classic contract cases for newer - more current cases - therefore - to be REALLY complete - I would get the older edition Farnsworth Contracts as well ( so you are covered with all the casebook cases ) - they can be had for $5.00 - $10.00 just about anywhere. I had mine listed on AMAZON, but have withdrawn it because of this little issue - I use them both - the differences are pretty minor as far as the theory. Actually, the earlier editions is a lighter read - the footnote info of the later edition - are paragraphs in the earlier editions..

WOW.

I bought this book based on the reviews and before I even received it in the mail, I contemplated sending it back to Amazon because I already had the Legalines and the Emanuel supplements for the Farnsworth text (I am a supplement/hornbook fiend). I really didn't think I could use much more help than I already had. The Legalines is good if at times you have trouble trying to figure out what exactly is going on in the cases. It's a good fall-back--I would not completely rely on this book, however. The Emanuel is excellent; like all the others, it gives you definitions and explains concepts clearly. The practice questions at the end of each section are very helpful, to make sure you are on the right track and are able to apply the concepts (the most important thing!). However, as soon as I opened up this treatise, I was in love. If you are going to get any supplement for the Farnsworth text, this is THE ONE. He explains everything clearly and concisely--in plain words, so its easy to comprehend. If you don't understand the underlying concepts in the text even after your professor makes attempts at penetrating your brain, open up this book and the light will go on. If I could only keep one of my contracts supplements, this would be it, hands down. It is a little pricey, but go for it anyway. I'm totally keeping this for the bar exam.

This is by far the best book to help those planning on going to law school. I have read many others and this is the only one that actually tells you the good, the bad, and the ugly. It also tells you how to get a head start on law school so that when you get there you won't feel quite so confused. If you are looking for a shortcut this is not the book for you but if you want to know how to work smarter then this is a must have. You can also talk with Atticus through his Yahoo Group to ask more questions and clarify any misunderstanding you have. You can also talk to those that have followed his advice and done well.

The "PLS Approach" is terrific, and is one you should follow. However, the "PLS Approach" occupies about 10 pages within this 858 page book. The rest is pointless digressions that fail to add anything necessary to your success in law school. I read so many chapters looking for a useful takeaway, only to discover, time and time again, that "Atticus Falcon" really just loves the sound of his own (written) voice. Ask someone what the PLS approach is - it can be summed up in two sentences. Skip the book.

Law school is difficult, but you can't prepare for it like you did the LSAT.

Take extensive notes, ask questions, study hard. Really, it's that simple. You will be reading so much once you get to law school- don't burn yourself out before classes start.

Take the money you would have spent on this book and buy yourself some bubble bath.

This book is great and you should buy it. But if you're going to read it from cover to cover, you're going to need a significant amount of time and patience. Between bits of very useful advice, the author rambles ON AND ON about different topics, reprinting emails he's received to illustrate his point or present competing arguments. He also spends entirely too much time being critical of law school professors. I found myself constantly paging ahead to get through pages and pages of material that I really don't need to read. Don't get me wrong, there are some very solid pieces of advice in this book. But at 850 pages you're going to have a hell of a time FINDING the good advice through the long-winded passages. This book should be edited down to a concise 400-450 page version.

This book is partly about what one person thinks will help you in law school and mostly about the complaints he has about law school in general. This book is unorganized, tangential, and very difficult to read. It's 800 pages long. The advice about law school is probably only about 200 of those pages. The rest is an unfocused rant about "the ivory tower" of law school and why law school professors are out to get you. This book is not really helpful for 1Ls. I would recommend either reading something else or skimming this book at most.

I just finished reading this book and highly recommend it.

This book pretty much focuses on the era when Tony Spilotro "King of the Strip" ran the strip with his alleged criminal activities and ties to the mob.

There is also a lot of information on Frank Cullotta and his subsequent role as informant.
The secondary focus of the book is the term of Sheriff John McCarthy and his team and their war on organized crime.

I found this book to be very detailed and informative, containing interviews with those, who, either lived or worked on the strip during the relevant period.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this factual, well-written book.

This is the book that explains in wonderful detail, how the Mob came to control Las Vegas and what they did to lose it so quickly.

it also tells the tale of the Law Enforcement coming of age at the same time. Its growth problems and going from a small town to being a big city and dealing with the big city problems it had caused.

No real telling of Las vegas history would ever be complete without this book.

Denny writes in a unique style that grabs your attention and tells you what it was like. Not boring, yet filled with details and stories from the FBI, Metro and the Mob.

This book is a good overview of the different visas available.
However, it really skimps on details of applying for greencard & citizenship.
In only one chapter, the many scenarios are all jumbled together, which causes me to be confused on which parts are relevant.
I got much better detail from things on the internet. The author has other books that specifically focuses these topics, and they may be more useful.

I was so pleased when I stumbled across this book in my local library.

U.S. Immigration Made Easy is a godsend. It honestly has everything you'd ever want to know about every type of visa out there. It's all here, in black and white, and not in confusing legal mumbo jumbo. There is a section on each visa and its process, and at the end of each section there is a checklist with all the documents you would need. There is even an appendix of tear-out forms you can actually use. How convenient!

Organized, easy to read, and easy to understand, this book truly makes the tedious and frustrating process of immigration seem more doable and less overwhelming. Highly recommended.

Does the review title sound a bit extreme? It's not, unfortunately.

Laurence Canter was an immigration lawyer (along with his wife, Martha Siegel). In 1987, they were both suspended from the Florida bar, and forced to resign after being charged with a number of ethical violations. The Florida Bar said,

"The Florida Bar further alleges that Canter committed perjury by filing a false affidavit with the Bar and while testifying under oath in a deposition. These charges resulted after an audit of Canter's trust account by the Bar showed that trust funds were held in Canter's account during the time period when he denied any funds were present."

In 1997, Canter was permanently disbarred in Tennessee, partly due to the fact they the pair were THE ORIGINATORS OF MODERN INTERNET SPAM. Yep, in 1994, these parasites spammed all of usenet in an attempt to get $50 from hopeful immigrants for which they provided nothing but a green card lottery application form.

They are criminals, they are spammers, they are liars, and they are unrepentant. Do NOT trust anything they say or write. Do NOT buy their books.

(Note: Martha Siegel purportedly died in 2000.)

The traditional international tax textbook (by Avi-Yonah, Ring, & Brauner) is god-awful. I'm not sure who the intended audience is but certainly not law students. At the end of the class, I realized I didn't understand the big picture at all. The professor recommended this book as a supplement. I read the entire text two days before the exam and got an A. I honestly could not have done it without this book. It's super easy to understand, lays out the big picture, and covers the most important topics. Do yourself a favor and read this text.

This book provides a good overview of the area of International Taxation--but only an overview. It will not help you on detailed, complex issues in International Tax. However, using this book will help you understand the general framework for U.S. International Tax.

I did not give this book 5 stars because it needs more examples. The examples and charts were the best thing about the book, but there were far too few of them.

Given the dearth of comprehensible books in this area, I think this book is a great choice if you are looking for help in a class. Practicioners, however, will need more detail than this book will provide.

What a delight it is to read a book that simplifies the areana of international taxation. The author has written a book that is easy to digest and actually makes the topic interesting with practical examples. This book is well worth the purchase price. Well done!

International taxation made understandable

This book makes international taxation easy to understand.
It is a perfect beginner's book as it reveals the ideas behind otherwise incomprehensible laws.
For those who later on get lost in the maze you can always come back to the basics in this book.
I haven't seen any other writer explain the basics so well.
The only thing that I am disappointed with at this moment, October 2004, is that there is not an updated version available.
I would buy it the moment it comes out.
Also, I agree with one of the reviewers of this book that 4 years in the international taxation world is a very long time.
We now need more updated information on tax shelters in this book for one thing.
Mr. Isenbergh please update this book and publish it.

I've been listening to Ask, receive and believe for the last 7 days. I'm really impressed by David Hooper's audio. Everytime I listen I become a litte more optimistic and feel a little bit better - which according to Abraham is the right path to manifesting. I haven't seen any results yet - but I know it's coming. I absolutely recommend this as an introduction for those who want to learn about law of attraction.

The audio version of Ask, Believe, Receive is the best book on the law of attraction that I have ever heard. It contains so much information that it will be heard again and again. David Hooper offers insights into new ways of thinking about the same concerns. I appreciate that! Thank you for sharing this information.
