Libros en Espanol Books

This is a book about remembering. The protagonist is always looking back to the moments in life that changed his perspective. Here is stated the eternal conflict of the innocence of women, which bring us to the anthropological view of the first couple in history. Is it a revenge what women do doing with men? Why are they so difficult to understand? A crystal seal is the connector and symbol of two distant worlds and a third one, the memory of the protagonist. Undoubtly we find a pretty interesting but difficult novel as the new proposal that Carlos Fuentes give us in Instinto de Inez.

I have to start by saying that Fuentes is one of my favourite authors, and I usually enjoy his books, because they immerse me in a parallel world, where nothing is what it seems and yet I recognise everything.
Having said that, I also have to say that Instinto de Inez is not one of his greatest works. It is confusing, the characters are very shallow and unbelievable, and the stories seem to have no beginning and no end... which is sometimes good, but it doesn't work in this case.

I also have to say that Fuentes still writes beautifully, he is a virtous writer and his choice of words is exceptional, but all in all, I wouldn't reccommend this book unless you are a true fan; but if you are just getting to know him, please read Aura, magical realism at its best!(...)

No se trata precisamente de triunfar, ni como lograrlo, pero si de la importancia del ser positivo y el cultivo de las relaciones humans. Este es un libro pequeno, por cierto, si no ha leido ningun otro libro de relaciones humanas anteriormente, de todos modos le sera util. Compila frases celebres, articulos de autores como Dale Carnegie,y otros... Es como para quien desea leer algo rapido, aunque sin profundizar. Sobre este tema recomiendo, Como Relacionarse Mejor: Manual de Tecnicas Para Desarrollar Relaciones Mas Satisfactorias, Dinamicas y Duraderas (Serie Recursos Ministeriales)

This is one of the most wonderful book i ever read,it fill your heart of hopes.I really enjoy it.

The title fits this novel extremely well... Delirio... reading this text really is a dizzying experience.
Liked it. Got it. Did not like th eending, but overall good...

it does not seam to be love story.. but at the end make you wish you were loved as much as Aguilar loved Agustina

This book is one of those you pick up knowing how interesting the drama and setting of it is, yet Restrepo's way of writing can be very confusing at times. There is no real sequence and at the end you end up waiting for more, that which it does not deliver after such a long and difficult reading.

El libro es fantastico!!! Describe muy bien la sociedad Colombiana dentro de una historia muy interesante y bien contada. Una vez comence a leerlo no pude parar hasta terminarlo, me tomo 3 dias leerlo, pero cuando estaba en el trabajo solo queria salir para ir a la casa a terminar de leerlo.

Uno de los mejores premios Alfaguara, casi tan buena como Diablo Guardian, de Velasco. La Restrepo nos lleva por los vericuetos de la demencia con maestría y poder de convicción. Una muy agradable sorpresa.
