For my research at this time, I only read the section on sugar. This section was filled with historical errors and biased, prejudiced language. Very few of his interpretations were orthodox. . He lumped all Arabs together as always having a low opinion of physical work. Furthermore, according to Hobhouse, they have all enjoyed making trade agreements, all the time. He cited Arabs as having been partly responsible for African race-based slave trade. This was not accurate; Europeans did not use intermediaries at this point in history. He further cited these same men of mixed "Arab-Negro" decent as having been solely responsible for the shift to only using African slaves. Although the validity of this was questioned, a statement of this nature needed citations, for which he provided none. He also used vivid descriptions that in context of everything else he said contributed to negative stereotypes, for example, that slaves were "pinned like a pig to await a buyer." In an effort to make the destruction of Africans more normal or acceptable, Hobhouse said that it should be remembered that white Europeans had short, nasty life spans, too. Even if this had some truth, he ignored the fact that Africans had absolutely no choice of coming to the Americas. To him only Europe and North America constituted the civilized world during the age of slavery. When discussing the declining Native populations and their relationship to involuntary labor, Hobhouse neglected to mention the New Laws of 1541. When discussing abolition efforts he cited the economic theory of mercantilism, not inhumanity, as having been the only reason slavery was abolished. Even here he ignored slave rebellions and slave resistance. What about the Haitian revolution? Furthermore, to him Maroons were only fierce Africans who caused trouble. Maroons had every reason to be rebellious. To Hobhouse, slaves only produced one-tenth of their value, thus not being economical. Hobhouse concluded by saying Cuba and other Latin American countries have been dependent on the world for their survival. He further stated these countries have never tried to be independent and that they have had an absence of respect for hard work and its reward of profits. What if Latin American countries have not wanted to buy into the European/North American concept of needing profits and money? I would stay away from this book.

Important book - but read with a critical mind.

Hobhouse is a must for anyone interested in history (particularly environmental history). He provides a new perspective to parts of history that we often don't question. However, reader beware - Hobhouse is an overt racist. Don't take everything he says at face value and be prepared to "toss off" the inflamatory remarks that are sprinkled throughout the book. While an important book, the chapters are poorly organized. Hobhouse attempts to tackle immense topics ("macrohistory") in limited space. He skips around and does not follow a linear format in making his arguments. Be prepared to step back and look at the big picture - he goes on many tangents that, while interesting, he fails to link directly back to his argument. Despite its faults, the book is well recommended - certainly provocative.

This book consists of a collection of historical essays about six plants: quinine, sugar, tea, cotton, the potato, and coca. For each plant, the author provides historical information about when it first began to be used (especially by Westerners), and how its use spread across the planet. Some of the information was quite interesting, particularly since the author is British and presents the material from a British point-of-view, emphasizing facts that may be less familiar to Americans. Unfortunately, no in-text citations are provided, but there is a short bibliography at the end of the book. The essays often spill over into topics that are, at best, only marginally related to the subject at hand, such as an overview of Japanese foreign trade in the tea chapter, or the role of corn whiskey in the economy of the Southern states in the early Nineteenth Century in the cotton chapter. Hobhouse has an interesting habit of giving his own meaning to words, such when he defines "Negro" as being a West African Black with sickle cell anemia, or "husbandry" as applying to plant breeding. He also uses the term "slavocracy" to refer to the political situation in the pre-Civil War South, presumably on analogy with "democracy" and "theocracy", but in those words, the first root identifies the rulers, not the ruled. This book may provide a light introduction to some of the topics covered, but I wouldn't rely on it for serious study of an academic nature.

I havn't read this book in a while but came across an editorial by Hobhouse recently and I thought I'd check to see if it's still in print. I recall some rather strange notions about our 'current' lack of fiber in our diet and the dire effect it may have, but in most areas where he dosn't range too far afield it's a good read. A reader above found the book racist but I don't recall anything like that. If you like Hobhouse try to dig up Edgar Andersons ' ' Plants Man and Life'. Not an inspired title but a very good book as well.

GOOD READ WHETHER YOU'RE STRUGGLING W/ FERTILITY OR NOT...

I stumbled onto Julia's books and her website while browsing on Amazon. She had commented on someone else's book, and it brought me to read about her books and website. I am generally a slow reader and rarely finish a book. I started reading "Inconceivable" and found it an easy read and highly enjoyable! I carried this book every where I went and read, read and read. I finished it in one week! - which never happens for me. In general, we eat very healthy and organic, but this book, Julia's story, brought me to another level. It is soooo worth the reading! Now, I am almost halfway through "The Fertile Female" her second book, and again, am carrying it around with me every where I go! It's one of those books that you can sit down and really, really get into and you feel like you're right there in the story, too. I highly recommend BOTH of Julia's books. I've also ordered her Imagery CD and some Conference Tapes from her website Fertile Heart. They just arrived yesterday. I have not been struggling with infertility, but more "obstacles" in trying to conceive our second child. I've had a miscarriage and my second ectopic pregnancy this time around, meanwhile, I'm just getting older... now 42! So, anything I can do to preserve my fertility, and in general just be the healthiest I can be - is well worth doing. Besides all of that - I've just really, really, really enjoy reading her books and following the exercises. They're very peaceful exercises - I LOVE IT!!!

Unique and powerful approach to infertility, a must-read

In the midst of my own struggle with infertility, I luckily came across Julia Indichova's first book, Inconceivable. Her story of hope touched me like no other and allowed me to discover the author's support circles, workshops and website community which I have found to be an invaluable resource on this difficult journey. I highly recommend her second book, The Fertile Female to anyone, male or female, who is struggling with infertility. This book provides hands-on techniques for practicing what Julia calls her "Fertile Heart" tools. Incorporating these tools into my daily life has transformed me mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. While there are many tools regarding diet, exercise and relaxation, the most valuable and unique tools are the mind-body imagery and body talk tools. Deep within each of us who travel on this confusing, often scary journey through infertility, there exists a powerful and magnificent life force that is yearning to be heard. We can tap into this force more easily by listening to our bodies and connecting with our true self. The Fertile Heart tools exist to help us to this, and I am so grateful to have found them. I can't say enough about Julia Indichova, her workshop, THIS WONDERFUL BOOK, and also her first book: Inconceivable: A Woman's Triumph over Despair and Statistics!! My husband and I tried to conceive for over 2.5 years. After 10 months of trying on our own, we met with fertility experts. After several rounds of fertility treatments (including multiple rounds of INVITRO) we were pretty much told that egg donor was our best option. We even met with an adoption counselor last week. The process took such a toll on us. We were beaten down. Then, something led me to Julia's website: FertileHeart.com There I found her first book (Inconceiveable), which led me to attend one of her workshops and ultimately to read her latest book (The Fertile Female). I am a true believer!! I attended Julia's workshop (where she reviews all of the techniques from her book) in Woodstock, NY on April 1st, 2007. I left there so uplifted and revived. My husband and really felt that we could have a biological child. I was so happy that following week, during my OVULATION, and I KNOW that it made a difference. I stand her today PREGNANT!!!! Following the workshop and reading her book, I practiced Julia's techniques on a daily basis. So did my husband. I literally got pregnant that following week!! It truly works! Julia is brilliant. She has developed an easy to follow plan that revives you and helps you in all aspects of your life. I can't say enough! I want to scream to all of the doctors who saw me as a statistic.... I AM PREGNANT!!!! YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK and follow Julia's techniques! Our dreams have come true. I will continue to use Julia's techniques throughtout my pregnancy and for the rest of my life. Stop reading all of those boring, hard-to-follow technical books and stop listening to all the gloom and doom...THIS IS A MUST READ! I purchased over 20 fertility books by so called experts that were hard to follow. This book was so enjoyable to read (Julia has an awesome sense of humor), easy to follow...and magically...it worked! It can for you too! I also recommend going to fertileheart.com and getting Julia's imagery CD and the best thing would be, after reading this book, attend her workshop! Remember, we are all amazing humans who have the power to make our dreams come true! Listen to your heart, find out what it is you want and believe it will happen. I am living proof! PS - I have purchased over 100 books from Amazon and have NEVER felt compelled to do a review before this! Best Wishes! [...]

If I could only buy one book to help me through my struggles with infertility - it would be this book. Julia's focus is on the mental and spiritual aspects of conceiving. She offers wisdom that comes from her own experience. She is light years ahead of other fertility practioners. I used her book as a guide through my own journey with trying to conceive.
I married 2 months shy of my 40th birthday. We started trying to conceive on our honeymoon. I became pregnant 3 times. All 3 pregnancies ended in miscarriage. I found Julia's first book 'Inconceivable' after my 1st miscarriage. I eventually attended her workshop in Woodstock and purchased her 2nd book -'Fertile Female'. I loved her 1st book, but this book was like medicine for my soul. I really needed a book that dealt with the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of trying to conceive. A few months after reading her 2nd book, (and 8 months after attending her workshop) I conceived my baby. I am 37 weeks pregnant. I turned 44 in May and this will be our 1st child. Her book gave me the tools and the belief that birthing a healthy baby IS POSSIBLE. I love her work and believe that her approach to infertility issues makes so much sense.

A must have book!

Words cannot adequately explain how I feel about Julia Indichova's latest book, the Fertile Female. It has become a permanent fixture on my nightstand. I find that it contains wonderful advice not only for those trying to conceive but for anyone who would like to birth an idea, a creation or just a better life for themselves. I became a true Julia Indichova fan after having read her first book, Inconceivable, too many times to count promptly following my "diagnosis" of premature ovarian failure. That first book gave me hope and courage to face the task I had at hand -- improving the quality of my life despite the dire predictions -- which served me immensely upon becoming pregnant a few months later. Now facing life with a toddler, I have found the Fertile Female wonderfully empowering as it contains the general message that one can improve one's life not only despite a difficulty but because of the difficulty. The Fertile Female is an amazing collection of all of Ms. Indichova's "tools" on how we can change ourselves not only by what we do physically to our bodies but also by how we think as well; in other words, the "tools" teach you how to live life in a productive and fulfulling manner. Bottom line, I cannot recommend this book enough!

Another expert who doesn't understand high school math

On page 188, Rep. Inslee states: "A wind turbine's output rises exponentially with the length of its blades." Actually, the relationship is not exponential; it is polynomial. If the relationship were exponential, it would be possible to connect several sequential wind turbines to create a perpetual motion machine.

Rep. Inslee's home state of Washington has a math requirement for graduating high school students. This standard clearly states that high school graduates should understand the difference between exponential and polynomial relationships. Perhaps Rep. Inslee should repeat high school math before he expounds on "solutions" for the nations energy crisis.

Best book I've seen on energy tech and solutions to Global Warming

The thing I like about this book is that it was a great crossover book for both my boyfriend and I. I don't follow energy issues nearly as closely as he does. I need a book that isn't too dry and keeps my interest, but provides the information I need to come up to speed on solutions to global warming and energy independence. This book accomplishes that by relaying that information through personal stories of individuals throughout the country, and contrasting their efforts with national policy. At the same time, judging from my partner's perspective, he was very happy with the book providing him with the latest on this fast moving subject and offering insights into the best investment opportunities in the clean energy space. The book also had some interesting anecdotes about interactions with politicians like Bill Clinton.

The only thing that I think can be considered a down side for the book is that it could have given the status of its policy proposals in Congress. However, I do recognize that doing this could make the whole book outdated when new laws are finally passed.

I think I speak for my partner and I when I say that it was inspiring. Finally, a proposed solution (or plan at least) to this problem!

The Four Horsemen of the Energy Apocalypse

Review Date: 2008-03-01
Congressman Jay Inslee puts forth his view toward a solution to fuel prices and climate change. The field is rather crowded right now for books on this topic. Inslee approaches the angle of the economy and jobs more fully than his competitors. He remains more neutral on hydrogen, nuclear, and clean coal, while encouraging wind, solar, and tidal energy.

Inslee puts forth Ten Energy Enlightenments.

1. Opportunity Is Best Found in Crisis
2. Boldness Is Required - Tinkering at the Edges Didn't Put a Man on the Moon
3. We Must Reject the Tyranny of the Present
4. There Are No Silver Bullets
5. Everybody Needs to Get on the Bus
6. If Government Sets the Road Signs, the Market Will Drive
7. Failure Is an Option
8. Prejudices Are Best Left at the Door
9. Clean Energy Will Be Powered by New Politics
10. No More Free Lunches

"Failure Is an Option" is one that has been forgotten. As a nation it seems that fear of risk in the short-term is setting America up for absolute failure in the long-term. Like Apollo 13, failure is a necessary part of exploration.

Inslee sizes up energy situation and climate change well, and does thorough descriptions of energy alternatives - solar, wind, biofuels, clean coal, nuclear, tidal. His description of the "Four Horsemen of the Energy Apocalypse" is memorable.

1. Inertia - ideas can represent change in investments, policies and behavior. Inertia wears down efforts to change the status quo.

2. Special interests

3. Miasma of ideology - issues are viewed through an ideological prism rather than a scientific, pragmatic one.

4. Fear - we cannot adopt policies that can succeed.

I would add one more. Fashion. Once ideas sit for too long the media will migrate back to other things, such as Britney, Paris or Lindsay.

I love Jay Inslee and I think he is a great politician, BUT, solving the global warming climate crises ISN'T Rocket Science! It is within our grasp today. American waste twice as much energy as Europeans to achieve the same lifestyle and per-capita GDP. That's just stupid. Fixing much of this is trivial: I bought CFLs, turn off the lights when not in the room, saved 50% on my electrical bill, and applied 10% of that savings to sign up for my electrical utilities "100% green" option to make sure my electricity is coming only from solar and windmills. And I saved myself money. That ISN'T Rocket Science. Rather it is common sense -- something that has been conspicuously absent from American Politics for the last 30 years! And for God's Sake Buy A Prius!

The writing is a bit on the florid side in places, however, Congressman Inslee and his team have put together a well balanced presentation of the global climate crisis along with a comprehensive plan for a solution. Like President Kennedy's call to put a man on the moon, Congressman Inslee is calling on all to be part of the solution to our dependence on foreign oil and to reduce our CO2 footprint. I believe he is correct in his statement that there is no silver bullet solution, but rather a million parts that must come together to create a solution, from conservation, to planning buildings as if energy matters, to investing in research for new energy sources. I appreciated Congressman Inslee's proposed "American Energy Policy". The economic concept of creating a class of green collar workers from current displaced workers is intriguing. This book is written so that you don't have to be a scientist or an environmental activist to understand, it is a good look at what we can and should be doing.

This book contains John Kotter's usual dose of platitudes and blindingly obvious insights. Anyone that gets anything useful out of this book is far too dumb to lead anything at all, except perhaps a hollow and meaningless life.

How he has gotten the world to swallow this nonsense book after book, each one a rehash of his previous mishmash of meaningless business speak ("energizing your employees") and vague, unfollowable axioms about, for example, "having vision," is beyond me. But perhaps I just haven't achieved my full alignment potential.

Honestly, seeing this book up on the shelves of seemingly intelligent business people baffles me. Especially since it sits next to works by other self-help authors who dish out the same insubstantial pap book after book. And keep landing on the bestseller list! If you really want to learn how to be a highly effective person, spend some time playing with your children. Bring your spouse some flowers. Read a worthwhile book. Now those are platitudes worth living by.

John Kotter has done a superb job in distinguishing the differences between leadership and management. This is often attempted yet rarely accomplished with such vivid and compelling examples and documented research. If you want to know the differences, get this book....

Another great, easy-to-read, and popular leadership book my company uses successfully for management development and training is strongly recommended: "The Leader's Guide: 15 Essential Skills."

I purchased this book for research as part of a recent MBA class paper and I was not disappointed. Kotter stands alone in defining the differences between "management" and "leadership". All of the other works that I reviewed (Bennis, "On Becoming a Leader; Bennis and Nanus, "Leaders"; Fiedler, and Follett)use the terms interchangably.

Of equal importance were the specific differences that he cited along with the examination of whether or not leaders were made or born. This is not the classical trait theory approach but is well reasoned and balanced. Lastly, Kotter specifies the type of scenarios which call for leadership competencies.

I recommend this book highly for anyone wanting to understand how leadership truly differs from management and how the two functions interrelate. Other leadership books seem to emphasize examples of great leaders without the research, balance, or depth of Kotter.

This is the same author, title, year published, number of pages but for some reason mine has a different picture on the cover. It is the first book I grab to look up stones. The photographs are gorgeous! I like that the author gives the common "source" of the stones; the astrological association; the chakras; and the healing qualities differentiated for physical and for emotional/spiritual. You can also find a separate section in the back of the book to look up gemstones for physical, emotional or spiritual challenges. He separates the chapters by color, so for someone who is trying to identify a stone, that is a big plus. The newer popular gemstones are also mentioned such as prasiolite and the more uncommonly found ones such as prehnite and pink opal. The only stone I couldn't find was cat's eye which wasn't listed under chrysoberyl. The only downside to this book is that the gemstones are not listed alphabetically even within their color category, so it is necessary to refer to the Index in the back if you're in a hurry to find your stone which is easy enough to do. Overall, I highly recommend this gem of a book.

I am a Crystal Therapist, so I love to find books that talk about crystals, give detailed descriptions, uses, and other information about them. (I love crystals and stones in general, so another reason why I love finding great books on them)
I have several crystal books and I have to say I am most happy I found this book! I ordered it, along with the new edition of The Book Of Stones and have absolutely fell in love. For the size of this book it has a great amount of information, uses, and pictures of crystals and stones.
I am very pleased about the pictures; the pictures are somewhat small, but they are nice up-close and clear shots. There is not an example of both the natural and polished stones for each one, but the picture quality is excellent.
The book also talks about choosing a pendulum, cleansing stones/crystals, choosing the stones/crystals, and several other topics.
Chaper 4 is what I say is one of the best features about this book. It talks about crystal remedies; first it lists different physical ailments and the stones/crystals that would be helpful. Next is remedies for emotional ailments, examples of them and stones/crystals that would be helpful to them. Last there is a section for spiritual enhancement; it lists examples and what stones/crystals would be most helpful to you in regards to it.
Out of the other crystal books I have that list remedies, I really love how this book was formatted. Having an entire chapter deticated to various remedies is fantastic. It was easy to read though and also just as easy to find what I was looking for.
I really recommend this book and I honestly wish I had found it a lot sooner. If I had found this book right away, I have about two or three other crystal books I wouldn't have purchased!

My time is short and classes are long. This book, however, I couldn't put down. Every chaper is helpful and makes a lasting impression on how I see clients and how I do therapy. Buy the book and read it. It will forever change your practice and how you see clients as agents of change, joining as critical, and theories as less important.

The authors take therapy constructs that have always been detailed in writing styles far too thick and complex and now describes them in descriptions much easier to understand, all the better for the transfer from theory to practice. While certainly pointed at the field of therapy, this book speaks to many of the "helping" disciplines---more can be "therapeutic" by aligning with these "common factors." The authors give great review to the ingredients to effective interventions and behavior change. When I finished this book, I was left with the impression that although everyone may not be in the "therapy business" this book shows how many who "help" can now be far more involved in the positive behavior change business.

I read this with relish. A genuine "Thanks" to all those who contributed to this book. I can't say enough about it.

This book challenged what I was taught to do when doing therapy. The book inspired me--made me think about new ways to view "stuck" cases. The case examples were powerful and the writing was excellent. A bit of interspersed humor made the reading interesting. I highly reccommend this book to anyone in the field of therapy. In fact, I suggest reading this book before going in to the field so that one can avoid becoming pigeon-holed into any certain formal, traditional model of therapy.

It is wonderful that the authors are taking on a topic of real importance in the psychotherapy field. What is much less impressive is their approach, which basically harkens back to 30 years ago in the field of therapy research. The authors search for common factors in therapy (which is fine), but at the expense of recognizing the enormous value that evidence-based therapy models play. There is a reason that evidence-based models have taken the field by storm-- that is because they consistently outperform "treatment as usual" which is what most clinicians practice (i.e., making it up on the spot, depending on their whims and biases). The authors take a highly one-sided approach-- not valuing the enormous strides that have been made in the field by evidence-based treatments, and the advent of the empirical testing of them.

Scientific , useful, and readable

Based on the strong literature review, professionals in the human services field may well see an improvement in their clinical outcomes if they follow the suggestions in this book.

I picked up this book twice since my mother died 2 months ago. Both times it made me feel worse! I do not recommend this book for people in the early stages of grief.

Tender, understanding and especially supportive of orphaned adults of Eastern European descent.

Even though I finished reading this book almost three months ago, I have been waiting to write a review on it. My Lithuanian born father passed away in his home almost nine months ago. Like the author I grew up in a home where languages other than English--Lithuanian and German--were spoken and played on the radio. As described: "The vapors of richly flavored cabbage soups and exotically spiced stews so permeated the wallpaper and woodwork that the odors filled the house on sweltering summer days regardless of what was on the stove. Homes were shrines to foreign lands, walls draped in faded tapestries and bookshelves lined with illegibly embossed and brittle book bindings." How true! My father almost to his dying day enjoyed the food of his homeland still cooked by my mother. (How he loved saltibarscius--or cold beet soup!) I miss those days of childhood and could never truly recreate what they meant to me growing up in suburban Detroit. However the author reassures me that we are never entirely free of our attachment there: "Who we knew, who we loved, and who we have been loved by are enduring facts that provide continuity in our otherwise changing lives." Likewise it is my father's memory and the memory of my mother with him that endures in my heart--memories left that are so endearing, so precious and worthy to be "preserved as carefully as if they were brittle snapshots displayed in ornate frames, on a table covered with the finest linen or lace." I know that my mother will be joining my father in the not-to-distant future but I know that her memory, as his, will never die. I truly believe that in loving and preserving the gifts of a heritage our parents gave us that we are given the strength to endure and go on. The Lithuanian people, a culture that has existed for over 700 years, from a country often occupied by its enemies, in the past not even noted on some western maps, can attest to that.

Most everyone outlives their parents. It doesn't matter at what age you lose them, once they are both gone, you are an orphan. My husband of 65 has just lost his 96 year old mother and he feels as abandoned as a child. This book is a great comfort because it addresses this very common but still emotionally serious subject. As Levy points out, there are volumes dedicated to the loss of spouse, child, siblings, etc but nothing to comfort us all who lose our parents. I have given this book to many friends who have lost their final parent - in fact this order was for two friends. I recommend it highly.

This is my favorite book on the subject

I read every book on this subject I could find after my parents and aunt passed away. This was, by far, my favorite. I've given it away as a Hospice volunteer and to friends grieving the loss of a parent. Comforting and very helpful - don't pass it up.

This book helped me tremendously

I thought that the loss of my Mom would be more or less the same impact as losing my Dad 7 years earlier. WRONG. I did not understand how hard I would bump into my own mortality. I also underestimated how losing the only person left that I had known (and had known me) my ENTIRE life, from the moment I was born, would impact me. Like a ton of bricks it hit me. This book helped me with a light touch and helped me to understand much of the weird turmoil I was and am still experiencing. Much as anyone else says "I know exactly what you're going thru", unless they've lost BOTH parents, they don't quite get it. I know I didn't before it happened to me. If you're newly orphaned, read this book.

Speaking as someone from an alcoholic family, this book helps you "detach, with love" as they say in AA. You realize you can live life for yourself and that you deserve to. The courage to change is needed because the old patterns are familiar and comfortable, but they no longer work. The book brings together wisdom from diverse sources, is divided into 365 short sections corresponding to days of the year, and encourages you truthfully, yet warmly, every step of the way. Read this, it's time to stop beating up on yourself!!

Inspirational and helpful!

I've been in recovery for five years, and I use this book to start my day. It's full of helpful recovery reminders that make it a very special source of inspiration for me. My relationship with Jesus Christ, the Bible, and this little book make my recovery possible. I'd recommend it to anyone who struggles with issues of codependency.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is fed up with diets and their restrictions. This book provides a guideline in getting more in tune with yourself as a person and your body. It will put you on the path of making the right health choices for you, not anyone else. Like other reviewers have said this is a good book to keep handy for pointers, and to highlight the points that stand out to you the most. In reading this book the second time around and highlighting the little chesnuts that speak out to me I can already see a difference in my attitude and my health. Another bonus in less than two weeks I am down 3 pounds, without counting calories or points or carbs.

Check this book out and I would also say check out Intuitive Eating by Evelyn Tribole and Elyse Resch. If you are someone who does not want to be tied down to another strict regime and you just want to live your life and not have to constantly worry about food both of these books are good tools for that.

I found this book very insightful. It is written by a woman who lost weight and has kept it off for a number of years. Victoria Moran's view of the other side of weight loss (maintenance) will be something I will revisit when I achieve that goal. This book is uplifting and down to earth.

This book of meditations is a good aid to any diet, or even for those who are on no diet at all, but who just want to feel good about their bodies. Here is a short video (1:40) about my experience of this book. I should note that although in the video I say there are 100 chapters, of course, as per the subtitle, there are actually 101.
